Johnny Helps

Johnny's POV

I heard tiny snores emitting beside me so when I turned my head, I saw a sleeping Ash. I wanted to wake her up but I knew that she had a rough night and really needed some sleep. I was about to ask someone for help but all of them had already left the theater. Plus, I was the only one who knew where Ash lived so asking others for help isn't going to be useful anyways. I carefully carried her to my truck and found it almost impossible to open one of the doors while carrying Ash. Thank goodness Ash is light for a gorilla like me so I managed to carry her on one hand long enough for me to open the door. I laid her on the back seat on my car before getting in the driver's seat and driving her back home.

*time skip*

I reached Ash's house and was about to open her front door when I mentally smacked myself. I need a freaking key to get into her house. I had no choice but to gently wake her up now so she can get inside her house. I opened the door leading to the passenger seats where Ash was lying. 'Ash... Ash, wake up...' I whispered. I heard her give a tiny grunt before her eyelids slowly fluttered open.

Ash's POV

When I slowly opened my eyes I noticed that the ceiling was black. What!? The theater's ceiling was not black! I was panicking and I immediately shot up. I saw Johnny jump back a little at my sudden gesture. Only then I realised I was in Johnny's truck and he drove me home when I fell asleep. I silently heaved a sigh of relief. 'Sorry Johnny, didn't mean to scare ya. And thanks for bringing me back home.' I said, smiling. 'It's no problem really.' Johnny said modestly, rubbing his neck. It was now I realised Johnny didn't have his jacket on, and that his jacket was on me. I blushed and took off the jacket. 'Thanks for the jacket too.' I said, throwing the jacket back at him. He caught it and laughed. He's so cute when he laughs... Ash. What did I say about this!? I scolded myself.  I could feel that I'm blushing even more thanks to my stupid thoughts. I got off his truck and waved to him before unlocking my front door and stepping into my house. After the sweet things Johnny had done for me today, I almost forgot about one animal that would make me experice the horrible torture of sleepiness again...
