c h a p t e r 9

I put in my dresses and do least make , to Atleast look okay to go to a club even though i wasn't looking forward to a date tonight , somewhere deep down i had a feeling i was gonna meet someone today , and this feeling wasn't a good one at all .
I walk to Ruby's room and open it immediately , she's finishing her makeup and gods , she looks perfect .
" Ruby you look Sexy tonight , is it for the guy you're seeing ? " I ask wiggling my eyebrows at her, she just bursts out laughing but nods .
" Yup " okay now she's blushing ,
" what's his name , what does he do ? ! Where does he work , ? " I rattle out .
"Let's head towards the club baby !" She screams completely ignoring my questions , I drop it cause I kinda of understand her state , tipsy .
" Jesus , don't howl " covering up my ears and laughing a bit .
We decide to take a cab to the club .
Immediately a car pulls up in front of us , and when the window rolls down , a guy fine as fuck sits in the driving seat and Damn the Benz matching is demeanor .
"Hi Luke !! " she runs towards the back door and gets in , compelling me in too .
" Hey love " he says , fuck man Australians are all like this ?? ! !, his lip ring shines in the streetlight , his lips perfectly curve- okay what the fuck Hailey ?!
I might have looked for a very long time , cause he asked
" like what you see babe ? " I blush , wtf.  I nudge Ru to cut the awkwardness , thank goodness she did .
" So , This is luke " telling me , " and this is Hailey " gesturing towards me , her accent visibly thick .
" So , Luke what do you do for a living ? " I ask out of no where ,Ru tenses up beside me  but doesn't utter a word .
"Erm " Ru and Luke eye contact and I sense that he doesn't want to tell ,
" I'm sorry for asking "I say and Shutup ,
" Erm no ! I work with my dad at his office " he smiles ,
" Oh nice " ,whatever .
We arrive at the club , and when I get out of the car , I almost cover my ears with my hands ,because of the blaring music the floor could break any moment , it was 7:00 still ,.
" The Irish Club " , writen on the hoarding outside the huge club ,
Ru nudges me and I look at her immediately ,
" 12'0 clock " she says  , I looks front and see two guys heading towards the club , ugh now the city's all the bad boys , junkies and all those are here partying and trying to get laid well on the other side there  is me trying to find an excuse to go back ,
" Ahhh fit Man " I whisper ,
" Let's go have some fun "
" Wait Ruby that's where you're wrong , there is no "let's " when you take me to a club , it's only you dancing and me being bored "
" Not tonight love ",She says , How much did she drink .
We walk past the bouncers and well thanks to Luke , and get inside ,maybe "try" to get inside because , people very busy they didn't care moving ,I make my way through the sweaty bodies following Ruby , she stops at a booth where many guys and girls stand in a group  , each one holding a drink .
" Hey guys !" She cheers
" Hello Ru " they all say in a very weird unison .
"Hailey , meet some of my best friends , Jason , James , Luke , Aston , Nick , Harry , Liam , louis , Patt , Mart , Lilith , Chuck , mattew , Charlie and their friends and Niall ", I smile and wave at a of them but when my eyes meet the last one ,  fuck , the guy on the elevator , fml . BUT I smile , because I just wanted to get it over with , .He doesn't look up nor he sees me .
" What is it ?" She whispers ,
"Nothing ,you should go and have fun not worry Ru , go " she nods and separates ways , and I take a seat at the table where all of the gang was sitting ,
" Hello Ruby , was it ? " a girl asked sitting beside me , she has red and copper highlights and seemed friendly , I nod .
" Hey " I say quietly.
" I'm Nash , why don't you take a drink ?" She says lightly sliding her drink in front of me,
" Nah , thanks , I don't drink " I say look at the opposite side of the table , all the boys sat there and rambled nonsense I didn't get but Niall wasn't talking instead he was looking at me , shit .
" Oooo seems like you've already made a friend , maybe more than friend " she teases me looking at Niall and he doesn't look away but I look away .
" look not all bad boys are bad " she says and smiles , gets up and leave soon all of them go dance or whatever , but I remain in my seat , awfully bored .
My phone buzzed , text .
Ru : Hails go home , ask one of the boys to drop you home , they're nice :) , I'll be back soon .
Me : I hate you !
Ru :I love you more ♡
Ughh I would have asked someone , but apparently No one was at the table , except Niall who was busy in the phone , I wouldn't ask him , he's just ...... anyways I call a cab and decide to wait for it outside ,.
I walk out , Niall at my feet .I turn around and say
"What the hell ? Why re you following me ? " I spit out , angry .
" whom did you come here with ?" He ignored my question .
" None of your business "
" Whom did you come with , Hailey !!?" He says harsh and now he's angry , Damn he looks fit when- No ! Shut the fuck and walk out .
" Luke!" I shout
" I'll drive you home " he states simply ,
" No , you won't , I called a-a c-cab " I shudder as a strong cold wind gushes by , he notices me and removes his jacket and gives it to me ,
" No I-I'm o-okay , th-thanks " I shudder but don't take it , instead stand still , he jut stands there looking at me waiting for me to take it , and I don't .
Another breeze and I'm about to freeze , He being stubborn just stands there , I huff and take it , cause I really was cold now and he smirks like a jerk , maybe he's goo- okay you need  to get home now !
" Parking is that way " he states and walks front , leaving me to follow .
" No ! ! I'll walk "
" No! You won't!  " he says frustrated , shit .
"Why ! You  can't just order me like that ! I'll do what I want and I already called a cab ! " .
He exhales of course angry ,and walks off .
I was some what glad , somewhat .
Cab doesn't come and well my phone's battery is down and it switches off ,I'm so happy with my life right now .
I walk down the street thinking I would get a cab .
Instead I see and gang of boys , lighting cigarette and drinking ,shit , I should have gone along with Niall .
They all look at me and whistle , shit shit shit shit shit , I take off and then behind me .
One of them catches up to me and roughly pushes me towards the wall ,
"Hello love , where ye heading towards ? , do you want a ride "he says , his lip ring shining and he had tattoos till the neck , evident he was danger , I struggle but no luck , he's stronger than me , of course .
He starts kissing my neck , I start to struggle and cry .
" maybe if you stay still , it'll be more fun baby "
Suddenly he's pushed off me and I fall to the ground , someone punches him repeatedly in the stomach , until that person comes down to me , picks me up , putting his arms under to pick me up and carry .
I stop crying when I realise who it was, smell of cinnamon and fresh  mint , it was Niall ., I look at him as if he was a bomb but he looks straight .
He opens the car door and puts me in the passenger seat and rushes to drive, Damn he has a very luxurious car , range Rover .
The car ride was ghostly silent , he looked straight , didn't utter a word , I looked at him occasionally to maybe apologize , that's when I notice how good lookig he was , his eyes now dark ,the light colour of them all gone , well built and maybe a football player I guess ., maybe I was staring now , Damn ,look away .
" What !" He spits keeping his eyes on the road .
"Nothing " I mumble but he hears it , doesn't say anything ,
I takes a sharp turn and we enter the lane to my apartment,  how does he ? What the hell ?.,
"How do you know where my apt. Is ?" I ask
He doesn't answer , I hate him already ,
He stops the car in front of my block , I get out but stop ,
" Thankyou " I whisper , when I was about to go out he spoke,
" Ruby told me , now get out "
" okay " I mumble and get out , he stands there and watches until the elevator comes down and watches me go in , weird , but I don't turn back , after the elevator doors closed , I heard sound of tires taking off in full speed , and that's when I knew he sped off .I smile to myself like a stupid jerk after I reach my flat , maybe he was good , he saved me and I shoudl have listened to him , and that's when it hits me , I have his jacket with me , shit , I will have to meet him again  , I feel myself smiling , wtf ?
