Kaito's POV:

"Prince Kaito..." the man at the door greeted me. I politely replied with, "Hello honorable man, may I come in?" Really? My first words to a man I dont know...honorable man? Really?!? FACEPALM!!! Then, I looked around the room and my sight got stuck to a long, teal pigtail across the room. I didn't know who's it was though...the lady with the long pigtail was hidden by a thick pole in the ballroom. She was talking to another lady with long, pink hair but it wasn't as long as the other lady's hair...I slowly walked up to the tealette (she was really pretty)and asked her to dance...she just stood there with a nervous but cute expression on her face...is she gonna reject me? She looked like she was going to...

Miku's POV:

What? He wanted to dance with me? Well, I couldn't say no..."Um sure..." I shyly replied. He held his hand out for me and I placed my hand on his. He gave me a light pull as we walked to the middle of the room to dance. He was a really good dancer and he was being really sweet too. Oh, I'm gonna have a hard time killing him. I'll just break down crying. We danced and danced and he whispered words to me like, "You're really pretty for a shy girl standing in the corner." I blushed at all his sentences. Wait what? I blushed?!? No, I'm not in love with him...I...I can't be! I have to kill him.

Kaito's POV:

Man, she was really pretty...and really shy. I caught her blushing at some points while I was talking to her. I touched her cheeks everytime she did. Though, she did look embarrased but oh well! She looked really cute when she blushed.

Miku's POV:

I looked at the clock, it was 11:59. I started tearing up when I saw this and Luka was below the clock holding up one finger...great one more minute! I cried harder. Why does time have to pass by so fast? I took him to the rooftop and placed my hand on the dagger hiding in my dress. I cried harder and started shaking. He stood there confused.

Kaito's POV:

Why was she crying? "Ok...I have to kill you at 12 but trust me I don't want to. " She pulled out a dagger but dropped it. I went in for a hug letting her cry on me. She cried so hard. Her teardrops stained my shirt but I didn't care. I rubbed her back comforting her. She really needed it. It was clear that she really didn't want to kill me. I trusted her...alot, even though we just met.

Miku's POV:

He hugged me and I hugged him back. I think I do love him. I wanted him to know before I killed him. So I said, "Kaito, before I kill you, I want you to know that I like...Love...you and I'm sorry." He was still hugging me and then I noticed his lips on mine. He was...KISSING ME!

My, my...my first kiss! I kissed him back and then pulled back, pulling my dagger out and aiming for him. " Miku...you don't have to do this." He said. " I have to though...I'm sorry." I closed my eyes and thrusted the dagger into him.

Kaito's POV:

" Miku...open your eyes." I said. "I don't want to. " she said. "Open your eyes...Miku." I said once more. Then, she obeyed me, opening her eyes with a wide smile on her face. "Yes, I'm bleeding...but I'm not dead."

I said. "I...I" I cut her off..." You missed." We hugged again. Then, I knew that I was prepared to ask her, "the question".
