Nightmares

Mirror mirror on the wall,

Show me an Angel who cannot fall,

I've clipped off my wings,

I've set them on fire,

He was the King of whispers and silence,

And I, Queen, the weaver of dreams,

Revolution brought down my Palace,

To a world of nightmares and screams.

A smoke filled, lit up city,

The meadows I played in as a young girl,

The meadows I'll never see again.

Mirror mirror on the wall,

Why didn't you show me how far I would fall,

I've clipped off my wings,

I've set them on fire,

At the edge of the cliff,

This is the end.

I stood solemnly as a casket was lowered into the ground. I stood in grey light. My clothes were black as a raven. My hair did not fly for wind did not blow. Time stood still on the one cliff. This one grave. No wind would ever blow as surely as no life would ever grow here. I wanted to cry but tears would not come. Rain would never fall, water would never flow. All would be the same here for all eternity, locked, in an instant of time.

Run.

Run fast. As fast as you can.

Don't look behind you.

Things are chasing you.

Your darkest shadows,

your scariest nightmares.

I was in a dark tunnel. I did not have Ender. I was in my usual attire. Boots, jeans, jacket. My footsteps echoed in the walls. I did not look. I did not want to know what was chasing me. I already knew. My fear. My fear was chasing me. Everything I feared was all here. The fire of the fear glowed on the walls. The water of my fear cast the light blue. Then there were the monsters. HH, the nightmare child, the wolf, Notch, all my enemies, all the things that made me cry. I ran and ran.

Herobrine, Herobrine, you suck out all the light

Kill everything in sight

Everyone who thinks that they have the might to kill you,

You smite

Your heart is as cold as ice and as hard as diamond

What made you this? Are you okay? I will free you.

I promise

In every being is a good side, even if it's as tiny as an atom

I will help make it grow

Only then will you know the great feeling. The feeling of Love.

I promise, Herobrine...

I promise.

I stood on a beach, staring at the waves. Rise, advance, fall, rise, advance, fall. A rhythm of nature. I heard someone running along the shore, their feet slapping on the sand. I turned to face a man with crystal blue eyes and a triumphant grin. He leaned forward and hugged me. He whispered something in my ear, too soft for me to understand, except for one word: Secrets.
