"Mila, I'm gonna go walk around the city, you coming?"
"Yeah just give me a second" I looked up from my phone before walking into the bathroom and spraying perfume on myself
"Leggoo" Jake said opening the door the our hotel room leading me out
"Where first?"
"I heard they have a bunch of really good street performers on 8th street" Jake replied
"Let's go there then"
It was about a 15 minute walk from the hotel and we eventually got there after being stopped by a police officer for J walking, he gave me a warning, this just makes me wanna do it more.
We eventually got to 8th street and I heard a bunch of different voices and instruments but one stood out to me I think she was singing ex's and oh's or something like that
"One, two, three they gonna run back to me, climbing over mountains and a sailing over seas..."
Oh my god. It's Lauren, I just stood and stared waiting for her to finish singing
"...One, two, three they gonna run back to me, they always wanna come but they're never gonna leave... they won't let go, ex's and oh's"
"Thank you everyo- oh my god" Lauren stopped what she was saying when she looked around at everyone who was watching and saw me
"Camz? a-are you c-camila?" Lauren walked up to me with her guitar in her hand
"No sorry, my names Michelle Obama, you must have the wrong person" I replied and Lauren started laughing then hugged me
"Oh shit, sorry, we ended in a bad situation, I forgot I'll just leave." Lauren's smile instantly faded as she turned around to walk off
"Lo wait, I'm over it, I mean I'd like to talk about it but I'm over it"
"Promise?"
"I pinky promise"
"You're a dork"
"Why are you here?" I asked
"Woah okay, I know when I'm not wanted"
"Laurennnnn, you know what I mean"
"I know I was playing, I've actually been traveling the world to try and get noticed, I sleep at youth hostels, so far I've been to Sydney, Melbourne, London, Mexico, Peru and now here, after this I think I'm going to Canada I'm not sure yet though, anyways what are you doing here?" She replied mocking me
"Me and Jake decided to go for a little trip before college"
"Jake and I"
"What?"
"It's Jake and I not me and Jake"
"Okay 'clothes is big on me' "
"Camila! That was one time" Lauren said slapping my shoulder
"Yeah, one time I'll never forget" I say laughing
"Hey uh this is a cute reunion and all but it's cold as shit and a boy is trying to get some Starbucks" Jake interrupted
"Sorry, its jake right?"
"Obviously"
"I guess I'll let you guys go then, oh and one more thing, Camila mind unblocking my number so we can keep in contact?"
"Oh shit yeah I forgot I did that, sorry, hey Lo did you wanna come with us?" I said pulling out my phone to unblock her number
"I mean if it's okay with you two?"
"Listen I love you mila, and Lauren you do alright, but if we don't leave in the next minute there will be no more Jake, well there will be but I'll be frozen and shit ugh whatever you guys get it let's go"
"I'll take that as a yes?" Lauren laughed as we started walking to Starbucks

"Hey I'll take a grande green tea frappe with almond milk and no whipped cream"
"Really Camila? That's fucking disgusting"
"Shut up Jake"
"That'll be $4.70"
"Thanks"
We ordered our drinks and went to the booth next to the window, once we sat down my phone started vibrating
"Ugh it's Shawn, I'll be back in a second"
"What?"
"Well shit hello to you to love"
"Sorry Shawn, it's just that I just got my frappe and then you called but it's whatever, what's up baby?"
"Well I have a surprise for you"
"I'm listening"
"I'm thinking of flying to Amsterdam to come see you!" Shawn yelled excitedly through the phone
"Ohhhhh yay, that's um that's great Shawn"
"What's wrong, don't you want me to come?"
"Um maybe you should think about it more, it costs a lot to get here and I'm kind of just trying to spend time with Jake before we go our seperate ways"
"Really? Fucking hell Camila, whatever I didn't want to see you anyway"
"Okay yeah bye"
He can be so annoying sometimes, I'm just trying to have some fun and he's always gotta ruin it
I groaned as I sat back down at our table
"What did he say?" Jake asked
"He said that he was gonna come here to spend time with me"
"Girl you better if said no, I swear to god if you said yes imma bout to leave"
"Well if you let me finish, I would tell you that I told him that I don't think it's a good idea because I'm trying to spend time with you"
"Oh shit what'd he say"
"Well he cussed me out then said he didn't wanna see me anyway but it's whatever I don't care" I said on the verge of tears, yeah he can be annoying sometimes but he's the love of my life and when he says stuff like that I don't know how to deal with it
"Uh sorry, who's Shawn?" Lauren butted in curiously
