Lucian: Happily ever after?

{3 hours later} {hospital}

Ian pov:
We've been at the hospital for the past 3 hours. The doctor's took some tests to determine weather was pregnant or not and The results came back positive, and even told us we we're having twins. a boy and a girl. However, they admitted Lucy because they needed to run more tests on her to see what the stomach pain was. Lucy was asleep in my arms when the doctor came back in with the results that would answer why she was was having stomach pains. I woke Lucy up.
"Lucy. Babe, doctor's here." I said kissing her head. And she woke up.
"So do you know?" she said a bit scared and worried.
"Uh yes... But this isn't the most satisfying news and I hate to say it. But you have a condition called Placenta Previa." he said cautiously not once taking his eyes off us just in case we have any signals as to not want any more information back. But that wasn't the case.
"W-wh-what.... does that mean?" Lucy said starting to get teary eyed and tense.
The Doctor looked at me like he wanted me to give him a sign to tell us or not. A course I gave him a sign to tell us.
"Doctor please. What does this mean?" I said not taking my eyes off Lucy.
"Well it means you run the risk of hemorrhaging during the pregnancy or during the delivery." he says with great sympathy.
Lucy immediately starts crying. But I still talk to the doctor.
"Okay...but she's going to be okay...her...and the babies right?" I asked trying to hold myself from breaking down.
"It's unlikely. But it's possible. Just take it easy." the doctor said. "I have to go see my other patients but you guys are free go whenever your ready. Be there for Lucy. " He said leaving. I just stood there. Then walked back over to Lucy in the bed. Crying.
"Luce we can talk about this later. Let's just get home." I said helping her out of the bed.
"There's nothing to talk about! I don't want to!" she said pushing me off her, leaving the room.
I ran after her and caught up with her and just dropped the situation, because I knew she needed to be alone for now, and time to calm down. But I was going to bring it back up because we did need to talk about it, because this was going to change things even more and effect our jobs in some ways.
We got in the car and drove home. Nothing but silence.
