Lucian: Happily ever after?

chapter 7

Ian pov:
Today we are telling the cast and crew about the pregnancy and Luce's situation. Last night Luce was up most of the night because she was so nervous. Though she finally got to sleep around 3am. It's now 11:30 and we have to be on set by 1:30. I woke up at 11, due to my phone ringing. It was my mom checking in on lucy because she knows about lucy and I being pregnant and our situation.
I'm running my fingers up and down Lucy's arm, occasionally kissing the top of her head. I'm tooken out my own thoughts with lucy waking up.
"good morning baby" I said as I kissed her lips . "yeah its not a good morning!" She said as she raced to the bathroom and immediately started throwing up in the toilet. I ran after her to hold her hair back and rub her back and comfort her until she was down. 5 minutes passed and she was done but we sat against the shower for a few more minutes til she was sure the morning sickness was over. By now it was now noon. So I helped Lucy up and helped her back to the bed and sat down at the edge with her.
"Ian?" she asked. "What's up?" "Our next checkup is Friday right?" "Yes. At two o clock. We get to see what we're  having too!" I said trying to make her feel better. "I'm so excited! I don't care if it's a boy or girl! I'll be happy no matter what!" She said happier which meant I had succeeded! "Me either. But it's about time we get moving and such because we have to be on set in a bit. " I stated. " True. Let's get ready." She said pulling me up.
- on the way to set-
Lucy pov:
"Ian what if they don't take the news okay" nervously half asking half stating. "Baby, it'll be okay. it'll work itself out . we'll be alright." He reassured me and by this time we were already at warner Bros. As he parked and toke the keys out. He kissed me before we got out the car.
-inside on set-
We walked to set where everyone was at, and gathered everyone and got everyone's attention so we could share the news. As soon as we had everyone's attention. Ian and I spoke.
Ian went first though.
"As you all know Lucy and I have been married for a few years. And we wanted kids for a while and we always tried but kept failing to get pregnant. So we were losing hope and just about to give up on trying and just adopt or whatever. On our last try , Lucy got pregnant!" As I said that everyone gasped, awed, screamed. But we didn't know yet if it was all support and happiness or not. "now it's Lucy's turn." I said kissing her reassuring her everything is going to be okay. "Thanks babe." She wispered before speaking. "Okay that's not the only news. And it's not exactly happy news either." Before I could say anything else everyone just all at once asked and shouted "What's  wrong?" "What is happening?  "What are you talking about?" And I just I lost it. And that's when Ian came up to me and hugged me tightly and comforted me and let me cry until I was okay again. And that's when Marlene came up to us and asked if she needed to speak for us. And lucy just nodded and I motioned it was okay if she did. So she did. "Okay everyone! Calm down. Let me tell you all because lucy needs ian and Ian needs to be there for lucy." Then everyone was dead silent. "Lucy has a condition called placenta previa. Where she runs the risk of hemorrhaging during pregnancy or the delivery. It's a very high risk pregnancy. Therefore Lucy will not be able to do certain scenes that evolve drama or whatever. " Everyone just started huddling around ian and lucy. Letting them know they have their support and it'll be okay.
