A/N: I know, I know I haven't updated in awhile because of school... but here ya go! Enjoy, this will be in the middle of second grade.
Ashlinn, Liah, and I huddle together at recess whispering.
"Reagan, who do you like?" Ashlinn giggles. I flash a shy smile and say, "Promise not to tell. I like... Dawson," I giggle and then turn to Liah. "Liah, who do you-" Ashlinn's face steams and I can't utter another word.
"Reagan. You can't like Dawson. I like Dawson already so you can't," she grabs me by the hair and I wince. Liah looks utterly surprised. "Now, Reagan, promise me you don't like Dawson anymore or else I'll rip your hair out." I can feel the tears stinging in my eyes.
"I-I promise I don't like Dawson anymore, I swear. Please don't hurt me, Ashlinn." I squeak. Leah hasn't said anything at all yet, but chooses this moent to speak up. "Actually, I like Dawson too." she says. Ashlinn snaps her head towards Leah.
"What did you just say Liah? I thought I heard you say that you like Dawson." She grabs my hair again and Liah's eyebrows shrug downwards. She can't bear to see me hurt. She shakes her head. "No. No I said Gio not Dawson." The grip on my hair releases. The recess bell rings for us to go inside so Ashlinn hops up and runs off to the line. Liah and I stay behind.
I let one tear roll down my cheek and wipe it away. "That hurt," I say. Liah looks really hurt and sad, like her puppy just got hit by a truck. My head feels like it's been run over by a truck. "I don't think we should play at recess with her anymore, Reagan." I nod and shrug my mouth to one side. We run into the classroom and sit at our desks. I can't make it through math without thinking about how Ashlinn grabbed my hair so hard. The fierceness in her eyes scared me.
SO whatcha guys think?
Think I should do Liah's point of view???????
