The beach!

(Chapter 3)

My phone was buzzing on my night stand making it ten times louder, waking me up. I groaned and reached over to grab it. I checked it and Austin had texted, "Good morning." I smiled and replied good morning and decided to actually wake up. It was about 9 so my sister wouldn't be up, nor my mom. My dad was already at work, he worked a lot so I rarely even saw him. And he usually was still at work by the time I fell asleep. I grabbed a bowl and got my Captain Crunch cereal out. I poured some into the bowl and plopped onto the couch. No milk required.

"Sleep well?" Austin texted. "Mhm(:What about you?" I texted back and began eating my cereal. I turned the tv on and switched it to Switched at Birth. It's one of my absolute favorite shows. He texted back, "I slept pretty good. You wanna meet up again today? I've got like a week to be here then I'm heading home again." I grinned and texted, "Yeah sure. Just say when and where." I finished my cereal and threw the bowl into the sink. I ran upstairs and saw my mom folding her laundry. 

"I'm going out today.." I said checking my phone after it buzzed,

"And Sarah is going too." I said smiling. 

"Ok honey. You girls have fun. Let me know when you're leaving." I nodded and went into Sarah's room to wake her up.

"So where are we going?" Sarah asked straightening her long red hair. 

"We're going to the beach." I said. We live in San Diego. She grinned at me. "

Alex is gonna be there?" She asked. I nodded and she grinned wider. I rolled my eyes.

"Alright. Let's go." I said fluffing my short-ish blonde hair. I went into my room and grabbed my bag.

"Aren't we gonna swim?" Sarah asked peeking in my room. 

"You can." I said. I never really liked swimming in the ocean since I broke up with Blake. We used to go to the beach almost every day. 

"Alright let's go." She said after putting on her bathing suit.

"Hey Cloe, Sarah." Austin said when we got to the beach. I smiled and set my bag down and got my towel out. I laid out my towel and sat on it. 

"So you guys wanna swim?" Alex asked smirking at Sarah. 

"I do. But miss party pooper over here doesn't" Sarah said pointing at me. I glared at her,

"She might change her mind once she sees us having fun." Alex said pulling Sarah to the water. Austin stood there looking at me expectantly. I shook my head, 

"I'm not swimming." I said. He smiled a little at me, 

"How come?" He asked walking closer to me.

"B-because. I'm not even wearing my bathing suit." I said. He looked at me then looked at my knee high dress I was wearing.                                                                        

"Can I see your sun glasses?" He asked grinning. I gave them to him and he grabbed my bag. He put my sun glasses in my bag. I looked at him confused and he smirked. He grabbed me around my waist and picked me up and started walking toward the water. I looked at him and my eyes went wide, 

"No!' I exclaimed trying to wiggle out of his grasp. He held on tighter and was grinning again.

"Austin...." I said calmly, "put me down." I added. He shook his head and we got to the water. He started walking toward Sarah and Alex who were pretty deep in the water.

The water rose until it was up to my waist and then he put me down, still grinning like a little kid on Christmas. I shook my head and looked at him angrily, my dress is totally soaked.
