(Chapter 9)

The two weeks are up. Austin is leaving. Here I am standing in an airport thinking about how much I'm gonna miss him. Austin put his bags through the luggage check in, and I just watched him, remembering everything that has gone on these past three weeks. Alex put his bags through also and immeadiately was back at Sarah's side. Those two are like inseperable, kind of like Austin and I.

The past two weeks Austin and I have hung out, gone to the beach again, did more of his laundry, watched lots of movies, cuddled, made out, and of course become a lot closer. He's still mentioned me coming to visit for a month, because summer isn't over for almost two months. He said it'd be really fun, and then I could decide if we should be together. I keep debating it, I don't really know though. If I go, what if I get hurt by him or realise we shouldn't be together? Or.... What if he's worth working to be with him?

Yesterday Austin wanted to do something special since it was his last day in San Diego. I had no idea what he had planned, but I was excited.

"Austin says you have to stay in the house until he's done setting things up." Sarah told me. I looked at her confused and realised Austin wasn't even here. "Where is he?" I asked. She giggled, "He's setting up a special date for you guys!" She said excitedly. I smiled, he's so sweet. "And I have to get you dressed." She said. I giggled, "Why do you have to dress me?" I asked. "Because I know what Austin has planned therefore I can dress you properly." She said. "Oh so you gonna tell me what he's planning?" I asked. She shook her head, "Don't even try it." She said.

We went upstairs and she picked out a Dark green dress with black flower patterns around the bottom. "How is that for any type of event?" I asked. She giggled, "It just is." I put the dress on and Sarah curled my hair, something I never do because it takes so long. I grabbed my make up bag and put some foundation on, some mascara, and dark green eye liner to match my dress. Sarah grabbed me a pair of black three inch heels. "Now you're ready. And the boys should be back in... 3..2..1." She said and immeadiately I heard the front door open.

"Honey I'm home!" Alex called, making Sarah grin. She ran downstairs and I followed behind her slowly, "Doesn't Cloe look beautiful?" Sarah asked. Alex's eyes averted to mine and he smiled, "Very beautiful." He said. He and I have become pretty close, he's like the big brother I never had, but always dreamed of having. He grabbed my hand and twirled me around, making me giggle.

"Austin is out front. Everything's set up so you can go out." Alex said. I smiled and headed for the front door, slowly opening it. I walked out and closed the door behind me. I looked at everything shocked, it looked absolutely beautiful! There were twinkling lights hanging on all of the trees, flower baskets, and to the left is Austin. Standing in a tux, don't know why. Oh and a dark green tie. I gotta admit, he looked even hotter in a tux! He was standing near a table with candles and food laid out.

I walked toward him and he grinned, "I know it's not that great, but I wanted something sort of special." He said. I grinned and pulled him into a hug, "It's absolutely gorgeous!" I said. He pulled away and looked at me, taking in my appearance. "Not as gorgeous as you." He said, causing a blush to creep onto my cheeks. He pulled a chair out and I sat, he's so cute! "This is really sweet of you." I said. He grinned at me again, "Sweet enough for you to come back to Texas with me?" He asked happily. I giggled and shook my head, "You're so cute." I said.

"I have something for you." He said, pulling out a little box. He opened it and I smiled, admiring it. It was a gold charm bracelet with keys and hearts. There was one big heart in the middle that said 'you have the key to my heart -ACM' Awww that's so sweet! "This is beautiful." I said, still admiring the bracelet. He grinned at me and I kissed his cheek, "Thank you." I said.

We walked to the flight gate, they had about 10 minutes before they had to board. Alex and Sarah sat in two chairs but I just stood there, trying to decide if I should take Austin up on his offer and go to visit. My mom even says it's a good idea! "Are you ok?" Austin asked, snapping me out of my thoughts. I gulped and nodded. He smiled warmly at me and grabbed me into a tight hug. "I'm gonna miss you so much." He said. "I'm gonna miss you too." I said quietly. I breathed in his scent and he held me as close as he could.

He finally let go and looked deep in my eyes, I could see a little sadness in his eyes, which only made me sadder he was leaving. He leaned in and pulled me into a long, passionate kiss. I wrapped my hands around his neck and pulled him closer to me. I'm going to miss him so much..... He pulled away but just enough to look in my eyes. "I-" he said clearing his throat, "I love you..." He said quietly.

I looked at him shocked, did he just say what I think he did? He loves me? I mean... I love him and I like always have ever since I heard him sing but.... He loves me?!?! He cleared his throat and looked at me questioningly. I was about to say something when the overhead speakers sounded, "Flight 892 is now boarding." It said.

"That's us." Austin said pulling away and scratching the back of his neck. I nodded and smiled, trying to hide the sadness that was overwhelming me. I jumped into Austin's arms one last time before he left, not wanting to let go. After a while he let go, and I knew I had to let go too. I pressed my lips to his before he had a chance to speak.

"I'll see you." He said grabbing his carry on. Him and Alex made their way toward the gate. Tears burned on my eyes and finally fell. I looked at the bracelet he got me. I realised I forgot to tell him and made a run toward the gate, hoping to catch them. I ignored Sarah's call and ran to where the guards wouldn't let me through. I saw Alex and Austin ready to board. "Austin!" I cried. He turned around and looked at me, smiling a little. "I love you too." I said loud enough for him to hear me.

He grinned amd waved before being lead onto the plane. I walked back to Sarah who grinned at me, "You're in love." She said. I chuckled and whiped away my tears. She pulled me into a hug, "Let's go home." She said. I nodded and we made our way toward the exit.

We got home and I gathered my family all into the living room. I need to tell them something. "What is it, honey?" My mom asked concerned. "Well... There is almost 2 months of summer left.." I started, looking at my bracelet again. "I have about 400 dollars that I have saved for something really special." I said. My dad leaned forward and focused on me, "What are you trying to say?" He asked. I gulped, "I've decided to take Austin up on his offer and go visit him in Texas."
