As the next few weeks passed and the end of the school year drew nearer, Logan sat at my table more often during lunch, and he talked to me more often then before. I had my theories about why. Maybe he liked one of my friends. Maybe he needed help with school work. The last thing I thought about, which I didn't want to think about, was that maybe he liked me. I believed this was impossible, so I quickly dismissed the idea.
One day at lunch, Daniel was talking to Julianne about something, but his attention went to Logan and me once Logan asked if we could go talk somewhere. I had a feeling he wanted to talk about the thing I dared not to think about. I did not know what I was going to say, so I was extremely nervous.
Outside of the library Logan said," I don't know if you have figured this out yet or not, but I like you. I know what you tell a lot of people about this stuff, you don't want anything to be awkward, but trust me, it won't be."
"Logan I don't know. I really don't."
"I've been liking you since fifth grade when you were the 'new girl'. Especially when you started to stay after soccer practice to hang out."
I was shocked that he payed attention to all of that stuff. I was at a loss of words, and I am the type of person who usually won't stop talking.
"I know you may not trust me Kit, but I really like you and would never hurt you, ever," Logan said. He must've seen the doubt cross my face becaue he then said,"You will never loose me Kit, never. If we break up then we will still be friends no matter what."
Just like that, I had my first boyfriend.
What I did not know was what would come from this.
