I wake up just like every other day, the light, pale, blue walls of my room always find a way to comfort me, to my right my window slightly open; a breeze blowing through slightly and gently moving my white curtains. On its left sits a dark, polished, wooden book shelf almost reaching the ceiling. Blue covered books stand in the bookshelf, all the books I ever read or have been assigned. I look across from me, near the bookshelf but on the other wall sits my wooden desk which has papers lightly scattered across it; hopefully mother doesn't mind the slight mess. I get off my softly and fluffy bed, standing up and opening my wardrobe which sits near the end of my bed. I grab a pair of my tight skinny jeans and a white muscle shirt, softly grasping the metallic handle of the dark brown, wooden door to my room, opening it. I look across the hallway to Trey's room, his door still shut, the polishing of the door still perfect. I smile, walking down the stairs and to my right, heading through the intricately decorated dining room, the table set up for breakfast; Four places already set with the breakfast dishes and silverware. I make my way through the kitchen where mother is preparing breakfast, the smell of freshly cooked bacon fills the room, the sound of grease splattering.
"Hi James! Good morning sweety!" My mother says, a blouse covered beautifully with pink roses, a light blue base color.
"Hey mother! Breakfast smells good, like always!" I say, quickly giving her a kiss on her cheek, looking out the double window above the two sinks; the white curtains pulled back for a perfect veiw of the side yard. The grass is so green and full, a beautiful, old oak tree sitting tall and proud near the corner of the wooden picket fence. I continue past the black fridge and through another doorway, finally making it to the downstairs bathroom so Trey can have the upstairs one this morning. I look into the mirror, my dark and black hair a mess, my muscle shirt shaping to my skinny, curved, and mildly toned stomach. I take the hair moose, fixing up my hair so I look sharp. My blue eyes look at eachother in the mirror, smiling the not so bad smile I always show off. I walk out into the hallway, heading to the dining room, not walking through the kitchen again so I don't interrupt mother. I meet Trey at the bottom of the stairs, his dark, black, and identical hair fixed up perfectly, his soft blue eyes smiling and messing my hair up playfully as I laugh, fixing my hair.
"Haha, come on Trey, just because your one year older doesn't mean I still can't beat you up" I say playfully as he pats his toned, skinny stomach, showing off his abs as he smiles that big brother smile.
"Try little bro, I DARE you haha!" He says as I follow him into the dining room, his black skinny pants morphing toghtly to his legs and his tee shirt perfectly fitting him to show off his toned upper body. We sit across from eachother, mother bringing out the eggs and bacon, putting them on Trey's and I plate, lastly putting some on her plate and sitting down. The blue and white lace cloth covering the table fitting perfectly with the walls and curtains. I smile and look at mom, trying not to show concern.
"M-mother..? You put a fourth plate out again.." I say softly and comfortingly, as she looks at me trying to hide the pain the shoots from her eyes.
"He WILL show up one of these days, just you watch it.." she says calmly, trying to stop her voice from breaking out. I softly look down, eating some of the eggs, sunny side up and still fluffy. The bacon is crispy and straight, I take a bite and the flavor fills my mouth as Trey's phone starts buzzing. It's the timer.
" Time for school! Let's go!" Trey says, softly standing up and pushing his chair in as I follow his actions. I walk on the opposite side of the table of Trey to mother, us both softly taking our turns to give her a kiss on the cheek. As I kiss her soft cheek I can feel the wetness of escaped tears, I comfortingly rub her light, long, curly brown hair as I walk out the door;seeing the family photo which shows father holding Mine and Trey's shoulders, Trey on the right side of him and I'm on the left side of him as mother stands happily on his right. As if it's not bad enough that we arnt a nuclear family anymore, I'm pretty sure mother is starting to show signs of depression. Trey and I walk out the door and into the front lawn, a smaller, tinier oak tree beside the sidewalk which leads towards the road past the wooden, picket fence; towards The road. The road, which curves into a circle, a small patch of green, live, grass sitting in the middle. The neighbors houses on both sides are light yellow, then the ones after that are light blue, exactly like ours creating a pattern of blue and yellow houses. Oak trees growing within each yard. We start our journey to school, walking past other kids from our school, exercise a must for us. All the other kids and teens slim and pretty well built.
"Mom's getting worse I think" I whisper to Trey, not talking to loud so others can't hear.
"She will get better, we can't let anyone know.. as long as she acts happy infront of others then we should be okay. We don't want to see what happened to mrs. Betty happen to mother" he says, confident and obviously acting strong. It must be a big brother thing, or maybe everyone acts like that but just doesn't know. We make our way to school, walking past the road and onto the giant, life filled yard which lays the only, and highest round skyscraper in our community,  which serves as our school and shopping center, a multi purpose building. The metallic and window filled school which is thirteen floors high. We walk on the red bricked path to the stairs which leads to one of the six doors to the multi purpose building. I usually keep my head down, as the first floor is the shopping center, looking at the white tiled floors as I step into the elevator with Trey, avoiding all the judgemental eyes which has know the story of my father, as trey softly rests his hand comfortingly on my back, the elevator starting to go up. I look behind us, out the clear windows which give us access to see the whole comunity. The whole thing shaped like a clock, the school being the very center, twelve roads lead off the road that circles the school, each equally spaced and each identically ending with a smaller circular road. Past the wooden picket fences lay some recreational parks and after the parks is a gaint, circular fence keeping us within the community. I smile, always loving to see the paternity of yellow and blue identical houses all lined up. The elevator stops and Trey steps off, we are on the twelfth floor, I smile and wave him goodbye as the door closes and I wait patiently as the elevator goes up one more floor and I step off. Blue, double stacked Lockers line the circular walls, three doors equally spread spaced make gaps in the lockers, each door a different class. On the twelfth floor the three classes are future development, biology, and math. Thank God I take future development today, I walk over to my locker, one of the top ones and I open it, taking out my future development notebook and walking to the brown door, opening it and entering the classroom. As I enter I am one of the last ones in, sitting in my seat which is placed right beside the open windows which overlook the community.
"Okay class, using last Fridays lesson, I want you to write a paper on how the physical and psychological state of the human body can and will effect future generations on this community and how we can better it, perfect it" the professor says, wearing a white dress shirt with blue pants, a grey tie running down the front of it. His grey hair perfect and sharp, as he smiles and looks at me.
"Ahh, yes. The sight seer, are you having fun looking at the same identical comunity you have been for the past sixteen years straight?" He says, trying to embarrass me infront of the class.
"Why I am, professor." I say with a smile on my face as the class giggles along. He sneer runs across his face as he continues the lesson. As usual I don't pay attention, but I stare out of the window thinking of how bad the world would have been if the new constitution was never formed. But, most likely as everyone else, a million ideas were running through my mind as to why we never learned about our history.
"So, any questions?" The professors voice fades in, as I look at the clock, an hour has already passed.
"Y-yeah I do" I say hesitant, raising my hand as everyone looks at me and a rush of anxiousness runs over me.
"Yes, Mr sight seer?" He says, smirking his know-it-all smirk.
"Why don't we ever learn about the past?" I say bluntly and the whole class quiets. His smirk instantly turns to a bitter look and anger starts to boil in his eyes.
"NEVER ask that question again Mr. James. You don't want to ask questions that will make you.. tooken away. You ALL well know that the past must remain in the past, we now focus on the future. So mr. Smart guy, you get the task of helping the new kid with his essay" he says, his face filled with disgust, pointing to a new, unfamiliar face in the back of the room as I take a deep, frightened swallow; not because of the new kid, but because I don't want to be tooken away like they did Mr. Betty. I remember that day as clear as this morning, men dressed in black tuxedos knocked on her door and as soon as she open it BAM the stabbed her woth some sort of syringe which made her unconscious. They then nonchalantly took her body to a black vehicle I believed they are called. Only government figures have those these days. The bell rings, signaling the end of the day as everyone collects their stuff and head out the door. I head straight to my locker ker, putting my things away as i hear a voice behind me.
     "Hi, I'm Alex. Alex Grey."
