We make it back to my house, opening the door as Trey and Hilary stand right on the other side waiting excitedly and patiently. Trey is wearing a black back pack which you can obviously tell is full of gear. Hilary smiles at me and nudges Trey, softly nodding her head towards the door to indicate that it's time to go.
"We will be back mom! We are all going to the park by Hilary's!" He calls out to where mother can hear as we leave, closing the door behind us before she can answer back.
"So where is it?" I say, not wanting to say the whole thing out loud where the whole community could here me.
"Behind Hilary's house" he says calmly and secretive. Atleast we weren't lying about going and hanging out behind Hilary's house which is a good thing; but I guess we are used to this, almost everyone in the community can tell simple white lies without anyone knowing, it happens all the time. We walk along the sidewalk, as I look at the road, my mind wandering off into the past, thinking about how cars would work and what it would be like if everyone still had them. We all were told in a point in time that they used to "kill the envirement" however that worked, but if it's true, then thank God they are gone; if God is even real. This was a rare subject to get onto, about god, about religion; no one in the community is allowed religion all we know is that the people of the past let a fake guy living in the sky control lthem and the society. They called him god and supposedly he could make miracles happen if you prayed to him, I've tried, many times. He must be fake, or otherwise my dad would still be here and we wouldn't be the black sheep's of the community.
"James JAMES!" Alex says worried, gently shaking me as I look around me. We are infront of Hilary's yellow, identical, paper cut house. I look confused, not even realising we had already made it.
"Are you okay?!" Alex asks as Trey and Hilary stare at me, Trey giving me that sort of look at which he knew that my mind was drifting again.
"I'm good haha!" I say, brushing it off my shoulder like it was some innocent bug that wanted a place in my brain.
"Okay" Trey simply says, softly looking at the ground and then me as Trey pats my back, biting his lip in excitement.
"Ready?" He says simply, the word rolling off his tongue with excitement and wonder. Looking at the barbed wire fence, about twelve feet tall and a blue tarp on the outside of it so the people of the community can't see past it. A whole cut into the fence enough for a person to fit through.
"Ready as I'll ever be!" I say excitedly as trey walks toward the whole, softly pulling the fence back and crawling through, then Hilary, then Alex, and finally me. We are all stunned, my breath escaping my body like it wants to explore the beautiful forest by itself. Tall oak and pine trees scattered, soft ferns covering the ground and Moss softly hanging off from branches like a swing set for fairies and other woodland creatures. The sun shoots beams of sunlight through the soft green leafs, showing down on us as scattered rays of light for as far as the eye can see. Everything is so beautiful, fitting together perfect, there are big rocks, small rocks, some covered with Moss and others dotted with dark and light spots. A curving stream flows infront of us about twelve feet away as Trey and I run to it, softly looking down at the water intricately running through rocks and pebbles in the stream like wind does within the woods going through the trees. We look behind us, Alex climbing ontop of a bigger sided rock almost as tall as me and strikes a pose, looking throughout the forest, scanning it as Hilary is feeling the trees, looking up through the branches. We all smile wide, everything so beautiful, so perfect, so natural and free. I smile and I follow the stream, Trey, Alex, and Hilary follow behind me, taking in the scenery as we reach a small drop off about five feet tall. The water runs off it from a rock into a semi small pond around ten feel long and which looks like it's five feet deep. Soft grass outlines the quiet, peaceful pond and an oak tree grows from the left side of the waterfall adding so much character; to the right are natural stairs made from rocks over the years. I smile, heading down them and looking into the pond, small fish swim around happily as all of the sudden a splash erupts from the pond, refreshing water splattering onto me as I smile. Alex emerges, shirt and pants off, only wearing his boxers. He smiles at me, a beam of Beautiful light shines down unto him as butterflies start to emerge into my stomach, the light highlighting his abs as his smile, brighter then the sun, lights up the woods. He smiles, grabbing my hand and pulling me in with a splash, the cool and refreshing water flows over my face and body; a sensation long and needed. I submerge, water trickling down my face as Alex laughs a playful laugh, and Trey and Hilary jump in too, splashing us both. We all laugh and smile, adrenaline filling us, the beauty of the woods pushing it to new heights and everyone so happy, so belonging. A stick snaps beside us as we all freeze and look at it, our hearts thumping loudly woth shock and fear; all the possibilities run through my mind as I back into Alex. A deer jumps up and runs by us, as Trey and I jump back, the deer hopping through the woods so peacefully and gracefully; so free. We all laugh, Alex's laugh is inches away from my ear as I look behind me, finding myself curled up and snuggling against him from the fear seconds ago as I blush and carefully move away.
"Sorry..!" I say as he smiles and gets out of the water, helping me up and out, water trickling down his body as I can't help but to look.
"No need to be sorry" he says, smiling and biting his lip, grabbing my hand and softly running through the woods, leaving Hilary and Trey at the pond. I follow him, as my feet runs across soft Moss and grass, my left hand feeling the ferns under my palm and passing Beautiful flowers. White rabbits trot past us as he stops infront of the biggest oak tree, five times the size as any other one. He smiles and he looks at me, but not in his usual way, in a different way; a different but good way. Our eyes meet, something clicks in me as I get lost within his eyes, the beautiful grey color so welcoming and loving, I feel his hand still holding Mine, as I softly back into the tree. He gets closer, our eyes inches away as something within me softly leans in, my eyes closed, our lips touching. Butterflies as warm through my stomach as we start kissing, his soft warm lips intertwined with mine, his hands on my waist as my back is against the tree, my heart thumping with joy, pleasure, love. He softly pulls away as i open my eyes, he grey, beautiful eyes staring into mine like he can see right through me, right into my soul; could he notice that I was in love with him? His hair still wet and dripping as I kiss him again, smiling, he deepens the kiss and I blush, loving it. I pull away as he locks hands with me and I look around the forest, everything fitting together, everything so much brighter and beautiful, but nothing could be more beautiful then him; not even the newly explored forest which hid so many secrets and now I know for sure that we both have many more secrets this this forest could ever hold. He is so beautfil, so prefect, how could I never noticed this. His soft lips, loving eyes, perfect body and definitely perfect personality; and I definitely now know one perfect thing in my life other then this community and Trey, it was him, alex, the most beautiful thing I ever layed eyes on. We found love where it wasn't supposed to be; but this isn't so bad, right? He was finally mine, and I was finally his.
