"Chantel! Get up already you have to get ready for your coronation!" It was my friend and maid Connie. Ever since I wasn't aloud to leave castle grounds I learned to make new friends, well a friend. Connie was my only true friend, I told her almost everything. My secrets, what I love, what I hate. We were basically best friends to the point where we even forget she's my maid. "Hurry up Chantel I already have 5 dresses for you to fit!" Yep she even knows what I love and hate when it comes to fashion. Basically best friends.

I wore this beautiful gold lace gown with a golden bow wrapped around my waist with a matching golden lace chocker.
"Connie it's so beautiful, you know my style!" I was so happy of what I was wearing, it shook off some nerves and made me more confident. "Oh it gets even better, I know the perfect hair style for you!" Connie took me to the professional hair stylist of the castle and she showed her a picture of the hair style I was going to get. I couldn't see it but I trusted Connie on this one. She really liked to surprise me.
I was finally turned to the mirror and I looked at my hair. It was absolutely gorgeous. "Oh my gosh thank you so much," I said to the hair stylist. I ran over to hug Connie. "And thank you for your awesome choice!" We both laughed and headed toward the throne room.

"Ah darling you look absolutely beautiful," my mom exclaimed as Connie and I entered the grand golden doors of the throne room. "Thanks mom, Connie did most of it she picked this beautiful dress and my hair style." My mother just looked at Connie. She sort of disrespects people of lower class. Connie curtsied, "Your majesty again I would like to thank you for the honor of serving for your daughter." "Of course darling, you may go wash the dishes for the kitchen maids will be attending the coronation," my mom said. I was in shock that my mother didn't even invite her to the coronation. "But mom I wish for Connie to attend the coronation, after all she has been a great help to me for years." My mother sighed and looked and me, then Connie. "Alright I guess the dishes could be washed tomorrow," said my mom. I didn't know what her problem was. Maybe she didn't like me being friends with people of lower class. It was a shame that she was like this, but this is about to change, for I am the future queen.

The knights and the wealthy were gathered in the throne room. The lower class were all outside the castle below the balcony waiting for me to announce a speech. I though of my old peasant friends and wondered if I would see them. I had doubt though, because there were millions of people here and it would be hard to spot 3 particular people in the crowd. You may be wondering if I need a prince or king to rule with me, but here in Auraviria no one sees a woman lower than a man. We only compare by classes of the pyramid, but that's about to change. Once I become queen I will do everything I can to remove the classes of the pyramid so people will not be judged by the class they stand. My mother began to speak. "People of Auraviria, my daughter Lady Chantel has been training for this moment ever since she was 3. I now think she will lead Auraviria well and strong and take my place. I trust my daughter fully on this responsibility and so shall you. I hereby declare Lady Chantel the Queen of Auraviria!" Everyone in the throne room cheered as I received my crown. Everyone made a way for us to the doors of the balcony. As I opened grand golden doors to the balcony cheering and clapping was heard from the ground below me and I reached to the end of the railings of the balcony and looked over the people, my people.

I searched through the millions of people for the three boys that were now men that I had bonded with when I was little. "Durin, Wyrda, Revan, where are you," I thought quietly. After a few moments I gave up hope. I don't think I would know what they would look like by now anyway. People got tired of cheering and I realized I should start doing something before they think something was wrong, because I was just standing there like a brick. "People of Auraviria, I am Lady Chantel and I am now your queen!" People cheered again but not as loud as before, like I said, they got tired. "I will do my all to help you in the best way I can!" They cheered again and I smiled and waved which signaled them that was the end of my speech. It wasn't the longest or best speech but hey, I am the Queen, can't I do whatever I want?
