S2 chapter 2

S2 Chapter 2: Confession.

-Currently-

Akiko's POV

    That was so long ago. When I first met him. Haruki Aki. It was the best day of my life. My mom and dad are still young. And my dad seems to start liking me a bit now. I spend a lot of time with mother. Father is mostly at work. I still see father since he takes most days off work to spend time with mother and I. Haruki is a good friend of our family. My family goes everywhere with him. Mostly because I won't go anywhere if he isn't there.

"Hey! Akiko? Where are you. You weren't down for breakfast. I grabbed you bread but that won't fill you up. It's better than nothing." I hear Haruki yelling outside in the hallway.

"I'm coming, I'm coming!" I yell back to notify him.

I get dressed in a nice grey hoodie and shorts on with my dark blue Beanie that my mom bought me. I got out of my room and saw Haruki at the staircase waiting for me with bread in his hands.

"Here eat up your dad is taking us to Yoyogi park. We are going to have a picnic." He tells me.

Since I'm 18 & he's 17 we should be at school but we are actually home schooled by my dad. Since he's really smart but his tests are hard. My mom basically spoils us.

"HEY AKIKO GET DOWN HER NOW.  OR WE WILL LEAVE YOU HERE." My dad Saruhiko Fushimi yells telling me to get down.

"SARU!!! Calm down he's a growing boy. He needs his sleep." My mom fights back. It usual for mom and dad to have fights making mom joke about divorcing.

"Oh so now it's my fault. Mi~Sa~Ki~" My dad says back to him teasingly.

"Don't call me by my first name. Yes it is he should grow to be taller." My mom say but I'm a little taller than him and still shorter than my dad.

I hear laughing from my left. I turn around to see Haruki laughing. He notices and he looks away blushing. He's really cute. I found out about my feelings for him when I was 15. I still haven't told mom and dad yet but I was planning on telling them on my 19th birthday with is about a month away.

-On the way to Yoyogi park-

Akiko's POV

My mom just sat in the car avoiding my dad. Looks like me and Haruki will be alone while dad chases mom and apologizes to her with flowers and chocolates. Yea this happens pretty often since my dad is an idiot and hasn't found out that mom is sensitive.

-Arriving-

Haruki's POV

I sat in the car next to Akiko and he puts his hand on top of mine. I look away blushing and he just let out a small chuckle. I look back at him kissing his cheek. And look down at my leg while he looks at me in shock.

"I know we are best friends but you don't have to do that..." Akiko say clueless of why I kissed him.

Akiko is an idiot despite him being smart with math and other subjects. He clueless in love. I started liking him when I first met him. He was caring and I fell for him. But of course him mom and dad wants him to marry the best. They showed him many boys and girls that he might have interest in.

"Hey. Promise me that whatever happens in our life we will still look out for each other and even if we say we aren't friends anymore we will still be best friends." He say and that catches me in tears.

"Ahhh- I'm sorry I didn't think it would make you cry." He apologizes sincerely.

"Baka... D-don't just say something like that. I will always be your friend.!" I say.

(Me: OH SIZZ. Friend zoned. Sorry Akiko.

Akiko: hey stop its a moment for me and Haruki. Can't you see that. Baka.

Me: sorry. *whispers* friend zoned.)

"Oh alright sorry. *whisper* I'm going to tell him. My true feelings today at night." He says. (Haruki can't hear the part when Akiko is whispering.)

"I'm sorry I didn't catch the last part." I say but he just shakes his head.

-skip to the night when Akiko confesses-

Akiko's POV

I knock of the door to Haruki's room. He opens the door in this oversized grown up shirt. A white long sleeved shirt. Button down. He looks really cute in that.

"What is it Akiko?" He asks me looking at my flushed face.

I take a gulp and push him to the wall.

"Haruki.... I-I love you. I fell for you when I was 15. Although it may have took me a while to figure it out I finally found my way back to you. I-I love you." I say to him pecking his lips.

He looks at me. Eyes wide open. Face flushed. He looks down finally and takes a breath.

" *Tears rolling down* I-I love you to. When I first met you. You helped me go through all the tough times in my life. I fell for you when we first met." He say and I kiss him again but this time he kisses me back.

"Now all I have to do is tell mom and dad."
