I covered my mouth, in a sad attempt in holding in my laughter. The camera kept rolling as Joji joked about types of people he hated. Wearing his alter egos outfit (FilthyFrank). Their were several moments when he would laugh over the fact that I was laughing.
The suddenly moments when he would be screaming, very vulgar words. Then look me death in the eye and said
"Don't smile at me like that, cause when you smile I smile."
And that would make me smile even more! And if you haven't noticed, I was "promoted" (that was the word George used) to recording his sporadic and purely cynical videos surprises me.
"Hey, can you help me with editing up the final version of "Pink Season?"
I was currently sitting in a spiny chair, fooling around on his computer. My face must have shown something's along the lines of,
"You want me, to edit something other then your music?!"(Which you choose to never upload)
I slowly shook my head as I spun in circles.
"I sorta can't anytime soon, I'm visiting my parents back in Arizona. I added in briefly.
Joji's eyes widen a tad bit, as he lead over his kitchen counter.
"Oh okay it's cool, if I need to postpone it. Or get someone else." He muttered quietly.
"I can edit it when I'm at my folks place." I offered.
"Naw, I need to get some songs finished, Im sorta reaching my death line." He replied with a little whine in his voice.
I began to get a little flustered, I really wanted to help. And I needed this weeks pay. I bit my nails and bit, as Joji worked on someone on his laptop.
Before I could say anything to try and resolve the issue, my phone buzzed.Mom: Y/N, didn't you say your flight is at night? Your father is bugging me about it.
Me: yeah last time I checked.Mom: damnit I don't want you driving to the airport alone at night.
I scrunched my face up, she still doesn't trust me with anything.Me: I'll just call an uber or something.
Mom: I just read a story on Facebook about a girl getting assaulted by an uber driver. No.
"Well, fuck mom." I muttered, I guess not as silent as I thought. Because Joji quickly poked his head up.
"What happened?" He asked nonchalantly.
"My.. mom doesn't want me to drive to the airport alone." I replied with irritation in my voice.
"I'll just drive you." Joji said with a smile on his face.
"Really?" I asked as I started gathering my things.
"Hell yeah." He sneered.
I nodded as I headed to the door, I've barely been in my apartment this last three weeks.//3 Hours Later//
I laid flat on my bed, reading some article on my phone. This are the moments when everything is completely silent. I assume George was out or something. Well until,
"Hey, Y/N!" Came from my wall.
"Hello." I said normally.
"How about I come with you to Arizona?" He called back.
My body froze, all I could do was laugh. This was odd of him. My flight was scheduled for a couple weeks from now. My parents wouldn't mind. He could just sleep in their guess room or something.
"Sure George." I answered.
My parents can't get pissed over this, I'm tired of them being so sheltering with me. I'm just bring my boss on my vacation.
"I'm fucked."
