Chapter Ten

"Oh come on Brooklyn you know that's not what I meant" Max huffed in frustration watching me pack mine and Aj's belongings. "Whatever Maxwell" I continued to pack "no your not leaving me" he spat walking over to the bed and throwing my suitcase at the wall. "I'll be damned if I lose the two most important girls in my life over something so stupid"

I jumped at his out burst, his long black hair was everywhere and his beautiful green eyes were darker then usual. "Max listen... I'm not ready to have a relationship with Brian yet" I sighed.

"Babe you don't have to ... it's for Aj she needs to know, she's a smart kid and isn't getting any younger."

"I hate when your right Green" I teased he raised his eyebrow before saying "you must be mad all the time then" god I loved that cocky son of a bitch.

"Now give Matt a call start off slow, tell him you want him and Brian to come to Aj's birthday party next week" he said, I sighed before grabbing my phone off the nightstand I dialed Shadz number.

Brooklyn? He answered on the second ring and was surprised I called.

Matt's p.o.v

"Dude what the fuck" I said out loud as I read the name that popped up on the screen of my phone.
"What?" Brian asked "its Brooklyn" I said waving my phone in front of his face.
"Answer and put it on speaker"

Matt: Brooklyn?
Brook: yeah it's me shadows, listen I'm not gonna beat around the bush here so... I was wondering if you'd like an invite to Aj's birthday party next week and before you ask yes this invitation is for the big bad Synyster Gates as well.
Matt: but our bands hate each other...
Brook: No correction! Your band hates us we could care less about anything that you have to say. But Escape the fate doesn't back down from a fight like I said that day in our dressing room, you wanted a war well you've got one.
Matt: Your bluffing our song girl I know turned you into a bat shit crazy stripper if I remember correctly.
Brook: whatever Matthew, I don't know why I even bother with you guys. You know what your band is full of? A bunch of pompous, narcissistic assholes! Blow dicks Matt (click)

She hung up the phone and I just sat there with my mouth hanging wide open. "Blow dicks Matt" Brian repeated laughing "this is funny to you?" I said getting angry "I mean a little chill out Shadz"

"Chill out? You know what screw you Haner this is exactly why Brooklyn left you,  you take everything for a joke. Good luck seeing your daughter now" I spat

"Ouch shadz" I can tell I hit a soft spot I shouldn't have said that. God knows how I'd feel if I had a three year old daughter I've never met. I'd be crushed and the fact that our two bands keep writing hateful songs about each other makes it even worse.
"I'm sorry man, I'm gonna try and talk to Brooklyn I want Aj apart of the Sevenfold family as much as you do. Hell even though Brooklyn just called all of us self centered asshole's I miss her to. We're gonna get this right Gates I promise"
