Manga: Aka no Haikyo

Genre: Horror, romance, tragedy

Status: Complete (yo so imma start doing this)

Summary: A girl who recently lost her parents stumbles upon an ancient mansion on a hill, only to meet an ancient boy.

Review: I loved this so much. First off, it's horror and romance which is my ultimate favourite combination (bet you didn't know that Kan). Anyways, the relationship between Minato and the boy is cute (not really but kinda). 10/10 for art. The art is so hauntingly beautiful, it's definitely gothic. 8/10 for storyline, mostly because the ending was so freaking sad. 8/10 for characters because they could have been more developed (but I loved them??). 7/10 overall just because I'd prefer it to be longer so it flows better.

Manga: Yuki wa Jigoku ni Ochiru no Ka

Genre: shoujo, fantasy, action

Status: ongoing

Summary: The "military history story concerning boys and girls" revolves around Yuki, a girl who has lived in the rural area of Kyoto with her six childhood friends who all share a secret that they cannot tell anyone. On her 16th birthday, Yuki's fate begins to change as she transforms into something much more...

Review: Yo so I decided to read because it's author created Kaichou Wa Maid sama. And the art was freaking damn good. For all those KWMS fans, there's a character in this manga that looks eerily similar to Misaki. So far, there's no Usui look a like BUT MISAKI IS ENOUGH TO MAKE ME SCREAM. So the plot is really good, definitely more action here. Basically Yuki and her friends were "chosen" to SPOILER, which gives them abilities to SPOILER however.. For Yuki, she hasn't been able to do the same as the rest until she turned 16. Also I think there's a love triangle going on, not really sure since the manga didn't empathise on it that much. I might be wrong. It's hella good tho! Give it a chance and I swear you'll fall in love with the characters.

But leggo to our main point ;)

Manga: Crepuscule Manhwa

Genre: Supernatural, School Life, Tragedy, Shounen, Drama

Description: From: Easy Going Scans

Lark, is different from the rest of the kids. He has red eyes just like Vampires do and he is bullied by the other kids for that. One day, he met Setz, a genuine Vampire of a Noble clan who is the only one that doesn't call him monster or bully him. Eventually, they became friends but when an incident happens, Setz does not want to lose a friend so he invites him to his home... The world of Vampires. Webtoon from Naver.

Review: Whew, this is one of the manhwas that I really like (One, being Black Haze) It's coloured, like what you see in Korean and Chinese mangas, but the thing that stands out is that the colour just added more than what you see in most Japanese mangas. In this manhwa, specifically, I really love how the colours just add more to the effects that's happening and the background. Okay, let's just go to the characters. Well, Lark. He's... a lark. He's pretty much like those childish and funny kids out there, except he doesn't have any human friends except for Setz. Oh, can I admit that Setz is pretty hot?? I really love both of their interactions though!! (Pardon if I'm wrong, since I've been having a little "hiatus" through reading like half of it, but let me tell you, there's quite a little similarity to Pandora Hearts manga in this manhwa)

Review: Well, scuse that lil description, but bruhh. Even though it mentions "hentai" in the description, let me assure you: It's NOTHING about that. This story dwells deeper into the action, and can I say; I really love the action in this series. It's all about like Sword Art Online, except nobody is stuck in a game, and you just replace the swords with guns instead. It's MMORPG reality game that our main protagonists are playing in, and it's also situated in the reality world as well. (Well apparently there's a shop outside that world where they sell guns and uh, fake guns where you can just carry it into the game or the so-called battlefield. Now I'm actually wondering where they bring and shoot their guns. People say it's actually situated in the reality world but hey, wha??) I've yet to re-read the whole manga soooo... just read it if you love machine guns and guns and team-play and action :^)
