Chapter 11-The Weekend

*Lindsey was re-casted. Lindsey, Nishelle and Cordell in the MM.

Cordell

I was in the living room looking at my phone when i heard a loud thump coming from the other room, followed by Chino calling me. I didn't bother to answer after i hurriedly walk to the back where Nishelle's room was and found her on the floor crying. I ran to her aid questioning what happened.

"My mother......"

"What about your mother?" I asked.

"She's.....I knew it. I just knew it Oh God this can't be it..." She cried out barely getting anything out.

"Bae i need you to calm down. I don't want you working the baby that's a first." I said getting down to her level, wiping her tears and rubbing her back. "Now tell me".

"She's on Meth Dell!" She said crying into her hands.

Ok I knew something was off with her moms but never would i have thought that Mona would go as far as dealing with Methamphetamine. That ish is cray!

"Shelly?" I heard a little voice say. I looked up and saw Lindsey looking at us from the door with a worried look on her face.

I reassured her everything was okay. She didn't need to know what was going on nor see.

"Lindsey, Shelly is fine go to your room and play till I come get you okay?"

"Okay" she said running off.

"Is this really happening? Am i in a freaking dream?" Nishelle said crying. I knew her mother and her did not have the best relationship but i guess when things happen you don't realize what you have till its gone or slipping away. Its all making sense now. I just feel bad. Especially for Lindsey. She's been through enough already. I guess thats time for me to step up.

Nishelle

I haven't even been 36 hours into thinking i lost my sister when i got hit with another tragedy. Yes i would consider this a tragedy! This is my mother we are talking about despite the fact of how she's been treating me lately. When Chino called me I did not know what to expect.

Flash back

"Hey Bro"

"Hey lil sis where you at?" He said. He sounded disturbed. Something was wrong.

"Im at my gmas packing why?. You sound like you distraught or something" I said.

"Man lil sis you sitting down?"

I was getting nervous at the fact that he would tell me to sit down. Usually when someone tells you to sit before they tell you something nine times out of ten it ain't good.

"Chi i'm fine what is it?"...............

"It's about your moms man."

"Ok..." I replied waiting for his response.

"Shell i seen your mom buying "Black Beauties" also known as Methamphetamine off of this dude Coppo's workers."

"What!?" Well how do you know she was using?"

"I followed her after to find out." And sure enough she went to one of the drug houses in the area..... and smoked it wit this junkie Maurlyn."
