Chapter 1 Beach Party
i watched as Gab sat on the edge of my bed, she crossed one, long smooth leg over the other.
while she stuffed the clothes and swimwear she'd chosen for me on my carry all knapsack.
as much as i resent it, it also amazes me how she and my younger sister Karen, even Anna, who was the eldest, ended up getting my Mom's genes.
they looked incredibly like the younger clone versions of mom.
with their smooth, peach complexion, long perfectly straight red hair, and beautiful blue eyes fringed with long, thick lashes.
i don't look hideous or anything like that. but compared to their striking appearance, i stood out like a sore thumb. with my long, wavy honey blonde hair, pale white skin that gets into allergy at the slightest touch, and washed out hazel eyes which would never function well without glasses.
just like everything, i inherited my features from my late dad, who died in one of their archeological digs in Brazil.
it happened only a few months after i was born, so unlike, Anna and Gab, i hadn't really gotten the chance to know him.
