Diggy's POV

"What'd you just say?" Yn asked.

I showed her my free wrists. "I'm free. Now, all I have to do is untie you guys and we can leave."

I bent down to untie my feet. After I removed the ropes, I got up and ran over to Yn. I started to untie her when Corahn walked into the room.

"What's going on?"

I looked over at him. "What does it look like? We're getting the fuck out of here!"

He nodded and ran over to Minnie. He started to untie her, as well.

"Don't touch me, Corahn!"

"Minnie, listen. I wasn't helping them, at all. You and Yn were missing, so I made them think that I was helping them when in reality, I was just trying to find you guys. I would never do anything like that to hurt you."

She looked skeptical. "How do I know you're not lying?"

He looked her in the eye. "You all would've been dead by now if it weren't for me. They wanted to kill you before you even had the chance to wake up!"

He kept trying to untie the knots. Minnie spoke up again. "Shouldn't we be trying to reach the police or something?"

He shook his head. "I already called. They're on their way."

"Corahn" Yn said.

He looked over at her. "Yeah?"

She took a deep breath. "Please, just please, tell me DJ's okay."

He nodded. "Don't worry. I made sure nothing at all happened to him."

We both sighed in relief. "So", I said,"you're really on our side after all."

He nodded. "Why wouldn't I be? We're all family. I'm gonna go get DJ" he said before running out of the room.

The knots tied on Yn's rope were wayyyy tighter than the knots I had. "Dig, what's taking so long?" she said in an uneasy voice. I knew she was terrified. Why wouldn't she be?

"These knots. Just hang in there, baby."

She took a deep breath and nodded. A few seconds later, Corahn came in with DJ. He immediately ran over and hugged.

"I was so scared" he said.

"We were, too" I told DJ.

"Why is mommy tied up?"

"I can't explain right now, DJ. Just sit right next to us and wait here."

He nodded and sat down. He was fidgeting a lot. I knew he was ready to go home.

Yn's POV

"Diggy, come on!" I yelled.

He sighed. "Yn, I'm going as fast as I can. Calm down, we're getting out of here" he said. He started mumbling to himself. "Damn, these knots are way tighter than mine were!"

I sighed. "I'm sorry. I'm just ready to get out of here."

"Corahn, how long did they say they would be back?" Minnie asked.

"Sooner than you think" a voice said.

My heart stopped. I felt Diggy pause from untying my wrists. I looked over at Minnie and Corahn, who were frozen. I turned to see Desiree, Zonnique, Taylor, Nate, Bahja, Breaunna, Tammy, Mason, and Jason all standing in the doorway. Jason had a gun in his hand. Mason had a gun as well.

Corahn gulped loudly. "Jason, what the fuck is that?! You said you didn't have a gun!"

Jason chuckled. "I also said I wasn't going to hurt them, but look at what it's come to now."
