My Sweet First Love

Chapter 3

When i get to school,many of my classmates were looking at me and seems like they were talkin about me. I was irritated but i didn't mind them. So when i get to my seat, i saw Michael looking at me and smiled at me,but his eyes seemed worried. Janet sit beside me,''hey girl,evryone's talking about you and Michael'' i asked, ''huh ? but why ?'' Janet says : ''Ronald our gay friend i think spreads the rumor about you two are boyfriend and girlfriend already'' i suddenly shuted, ''what? what the heck!'' and everyone stared at me,and i looked at them with gazing eyes and looked back at Janet. ''I'm not even allowed to have a boyfriend'' i told her. ''Break the rules'' Janet told me.

 So the day went by for me like nothing but everyone was looking at me,like they wanna ask me,why me. That pissed me off really. Then i was alone sitting outside our room. Michael stood in front of me, ''hey,can i talk to you for a moment'' he asked me,then i said, ''yeah sure''. Then he started talking ''you see,ah..i don't know how to say this,ah.. .well,ah..i like you'' i was just staring at him with wide eyes open and shocked like i wanna slap my own face. Then he smiled,''do you like me too ?'' then i just said slowly,'' ahmm..well,ah..yeah'' Then he continued, ''can you be my girlfriend?'' i wanna slap my face again at that very moment,but i said,''duh i never had a boyfriend ever,so atleast try to court me first right?'' he just laughed and said ''yeah,you are right,i respect your decision,so see you then,i'll be waiting for your approval'' then he left. And then Janet saw my face like blank,she went near me ''hey,what did you two talked about?'' she asked me. I couldn't look at her face because i can't lie to her that it was nothing so i sighed first. Then i told her, ''he told me he likes me and wants me to be his girlfriend''. Her eyes went huge and shouted,'' oh my gosh!! and what did you say?'' i answered back,''well,i told him to court me first.'' and she loudly asked,''what?'' i suddenly turn at her face ''and why?'' she said,''because courting is so oldfashioned my dear'' and i told her,''so what? i don't care,he can't get me just like that.'' then she sighed,''well,your brave enough i guess,goodluck'' then she left and went to Maureen and Kathryn.

The next morning,as i was about to sit on my desk,Maureen and Kathryn grabbed me in the back of the room,and asked me,''hey Janet told us everything,so when are you gonna be Michael's girlfriend?'' i just looked at them and said,''i don't know,if he can wait maybe'' and they hit my head and said,''you're so old fashioned girl you know that?'' and me,''awww my head,geez you two! atleast im not a flirt.'' the two nodded and says,''yeah she got a point.'' Then the two started smiling and teasing me,''but we know deep inside you,you can't wait to be his girlfriend already'' and they were laughing. And i just said,''yeah whatever shut up'' while smiling and then i saw Michael and smiled at me,my heart panicked again. And the two teased me more. During the class, Michael was staring at me while smiling,sometimes i even caught him just looking at me and when it happens,we just both smile at each other.

Days went by,he walked me home,goes to my house with Janet and his boyfriend Kenneth,Maureen and Kathryn. Then one day,he changed,he suddenly doesn't even look at me,he doesn't talk to me anymore,he suddenly went cold. I wondered why...

Janet asked me,''hey eli,what happened with the two of you? did you two had a fight?'' i looked at her and said,''i dont know what's happening either.'' Days went by and he was like that,then i started to miss him and i realized i was crying and my friends saw me then they went near me,''hey,don't cry girl,it's not the end of the world'' i asked them,''why is he doing this to me? maing me fall and then leaving me behind hanging just like that?'' they were caressing my back and said,''well,maybe he changed his mind,maybe its better atleast this early right?'' and i looked at them with teary eyes,''thanks guys'' they just messed my hair and said,''we don't want our baby crying so stop crying now okay?''

The next day i heard from Kenneth, that Michael suddenly thinks he doesn't love me that deep yet. And when i started ignoring him too,Kenneth says Michael missed me and wants to talk to me again. He really did talked to me again. But i told him,'' no it's okay,make sure what you really feel first,maybe you're just infatuated.'' But still,we became friends. And at class,we had a new friend,he was old though,he seems 40+ years old for me,but he was just 25 years old but looks older. But that classmate of ours seems kind anyway,i invited him to my house with the rest.

He was mentioning this that he has a youth organization and he wants us and the rest to be part of it,so we joined and we bacame officers after a month,i became the secretarry,janet became the treasurer,but Maureen and Kathryn didn't joined and Kenneth as well. So it was only me,Janet and Michael who joined the youth org. and then some of our classmates too.
