I knew I shouldn't have stayed,
But I had never found this alarming.
I was a princess that had fallen asleep,
While you took the chance and ran.
My heart was forever yours to keep,
Then I realized I was never a part of your plan.
Awaiting a kiss that will never come,
You take all that you can.
Soon the pain will just feel numb.
