Our love story- Luffy x Nami

Chapter 4

Sorry, I haven't update, I've been busy , but I can finally update this chapter.(Not edited)

Nami-

Laying there felt like I don't have a care in the world and it's strange how the nightmares that would haunted me, disappears in the thin air. Everything seems so right... for the strangest reason.

Morning-
I felt a arm around my waist and slowly trying to remove it from my waist. BUT NO, it has to be wrap around me. Stupid rubber power. Now that I think about it, I have an excuse to stay in bed and not only that but I could have time to read a book. I reach for a book near the small table and was about to read, when I realized what I was missing. Grabbing  the shell and press the button and within a couple seconds, it started to play a beautiful song. Everything all so perfect.
2 hour later-
Everything was going great if you ignore luffy's snoring, drooling and the occasional tighten his grip out my waist. Which I really wanted to punch him for, but I saw how calm and relax he was. So, I couldn't do that because lately I saw how stress he was about something and with his brother's death, he seem to be depressed and too alert.

" Good Morning, Nami" Luffy said releasing his arm around my waist making me feel so what empty and in complete. He slowly rubs his eyes and grins.

" Good Morning to you too" I replied smiling,

" How long have you been awake? And in here" He asked,

" 2 hours ?" I stated,

"What?! Don't you like to swim in the morning and spend time outside." He asked,

" Let me just remind you, that I was snuck and wasn't able to GET OUT because your arms were around me and all." I said

" Oh, sorry Let go get breakfast I NEED SOME MEAT!!!"he said grinning

I  rolled my eyes and walk to the closet grabbing something to wear. When I was done, I walk out and saw Luffy flipping through my book and poking at it as if it was in some unknown language. I clearly my throats and Luffy quickly close the book and look straight at me. " What are you doing with my book and why do you look like it's in a different language ?" I asked,

" I was bored and let go!" he replied grabbing my arm and drag me into the kitchen. Why was he ignoring the question. He's  sometime an idiot, but he always tell the truth me.

We both sat next to down to realize Sanji was no where to be seen. I got up from where I was sitting and walk up to the refrigerator and saw a note on it that says
Nami and Luffy,
We will be gone for a while to buy somethings for the ship.
                                                               - Crew

I open the refrigerator to find no food in it." Nami, where my meat?!" Luffy yelled,

" Everyone ate all the breakfast already, unless you want to eat raw meat then it here." I replied

" Can you cook something here" He asked frowning,

" Why are you frowning for? You don't think I can cook or something like that!!" I have whisper but yelled,

" No, I not trying to put it that harsh but I never seen you cook before. When I created I crew everyone at least tried to cook but I NEVER seen you do so." I plainly stated,

How dare he! I can perfectly cook... I think.  I mean, I've cook before in a really long time and it tasted ok.. I guess in a way. But that doesn't mean he should say that directly to me. Nami, your going to prove him wrong yelled my inner. " I can cook and I'll prove it! By making breakfast." I stated nervously,

I started getting the ingredients for the dash. I was  cooking the bacon, frying sausage with veggies and making sunny side eggs and of course french toast. That was for Luffy and as for me I has toast with eggs and avocado and spices. Also, I made my self a little fruit salad and a tangerines juice to get the right nutrients for the day. When I finish cooking and putting them on the plates, I started walking to Luffy and placing them in front of him.

" You can cook????!!" He screamed,

" I told you. But I guess, you making such hateful comment... you going make breakfast for yourself and I eat these delicious food [ while... I hope they taste good]." I said,

" What? NO! I can't cook and I am .... captain....yeah your captain, Nami." Luffy yelled,

"So....." I said rolling my eyes,

" You can't do this to me, Nami" he said whining,

" yes, I can" I stated,

"Nami, please I am really hungry!!! Nami please!!!!" Luffy said,

I laughed, not in the bad way it just the face he was making is funny and somewhat adorable. " Find" I said,

Without a hesitation sat down and started eating like his life depends on it. I walk to the chair and started eat, too. I was wondering how my food taste? Good? Bad? "Luffy, how does it taste?" I asked nervously,
What was that? I thought. I was never nervous before, while I mean it rare unless if it a fight and tension that yeah but asking a question to a person, I've known for so long. NEVER and NO!

" let me think" he continues " while, I think it's delicious!" A smile spread in my face. I felt joy and warmth fell my body. Not only that but my heart step a beat." Really! You mean it, Luffy?" I asked,

" Yeah! It amazing!!" He yelled smiling.

" This is perfect" I whispered,

" Nami, you said something?" Luffy asked,

" Nothing, we should...... would you like to explore the island after we finish, Breakfast?" I said changing to topic.

" Yeah!!!" He screamed with excitement,
