Hye Mi was the last to shuffle out the bilious excuse for a class.

The papers between her arms all crumpled up from being pushed awfully to the ground by her despicable peers.

She didn't even want to address them that way. They were all little immature, devilish students who thought they ruled the world because of their foolish money.

Hye Mi couldn't even walk two hallways without being pinned into the wall.

There goes my papers again... She thought grimly, ignoring the pain surging towards her back and shoulder blades.

"Ew. Is it just me, or do you just look even more hideous today?" Laina smirked, twirling the dyed blonde hair around the tip of her nimblr fingers.

Hye Mi struggled under two other grips. They were the highschool jocks as they would say.

"Okay boys, give her lots of love!" Laina cackled, sashaying away as she popped a lollipop into her mouth.

The two boys looked at each other with devilish grins. Even though Hye Mi wanted to die, she didn't want to experience anything like this.

"N-No, p-please stop."

"Not until we're done with yo-"

"What do you think you're doing?" A voice interrupted. All eyes turned towards the latter who stood in the front of the hallway.

"This isn't your business Kyungsoo, be on your way." The jocks dismissed.

"Shireo. Leave her alone."

"What're you going to do about it pretty little flower boy? You're just a weak man."

"I will report you to my father and have your companies spiral down to a dramatic failure. Try me." He coldly threatened.

Hye Mi didn't understand any of the adroit words he was pulling through, but seeing the two boys turn pale it must've been really important.

They let her go, a bruise already starting to form on her arms. Kyungsoo trudged over to the fallen girl.

"Hye Mi, gwenchan-"

"Just go," Hye Mi looked at him with cold eyes, "you being seen with me isn't going to make anything better, now please leave." She added.

Before he could protest she got up and ran away, leaving him standing there alone, the rustling of the paper being heard faintly before falling ever-so-slightly to the ground.

That was one of the most special moments of his life.

That was his first time talking to her. And even if he rejected his touch, he was content with just having her speak words towards him.

He was at bliss.

That was the one of the worst part of the day for her. Not only was it the first time someone was standing up for her, it was the first time someone talked to her in such a calm and nice way.

He was even about to ask if she was alright. Regardless it still scared her. The odd, wavy feeling down in the pit of her stomach.

As much as she hated to admit it, he was very handsome up close. The way his big brown eyes stared back into hers, they were very hard to read.

When his eyebrows moved up in worry, panic running through his body. Kyungsoo could not even believe how low the people at this god-forsaken school were.

It was too hard to believe that they were so low, they were attempting to rape Hye Mi. That frightened him a lot but he had covered it up well.

When he had seen her porcelain face completely, it amazed him. How could such a young beautiful woman, be hated and tortured by her foolish peers? Everytime he looked at her, she was always being played with.

Her classmates doing their usual antic jokes on her. But he did not want to stop the people from their doings. Of course it wasn't that he was scared to stand up for the feckless girl, but it was that fact that if he stood up for her, the teasing, torturing, and physical actions would increase gradually in such a short time.

Kyungsoo wanted to report about the school's imperfections, but seeing his dad as a selfish, gold-digger, he knew that there was nothing he was able to do.

But Hye Mi was fazed by the latter. She had always seen him as rude and demeaning, only to see kindness and caring in the young latters face.

But that didn't do anything. It meant nothing but a simple rescue to the troubled girl.

Soon the teasing had gone down as the teacher walked in, he never cared about Hye Mi's education, the teacher only wanted the well pounded money he has earned.

She stared intently out the window. The memories of her not-so-forgetful past.

To a normal person, the past was a good thing to visit. But to Hye Mi, it was not the safest thing to remember.

Sounds of screams in her head. Hye Mi closed her eyes as tears dropped out the corners of her eyes.

A hand touched her shoulders, scaring her immensely. She had thought it would be some joke about her again.

Hye Mi turned, her eyes widening. She didn't expect who it was.

"Hye Mi, gwenchana?" Kyungsoo questioned with extreme worry in his calm voice.

Everyone stared at the situation in awe.

"What the hell is he doing? He's going to get contaminated with her pathetic bacteria!"

But Hye Mi paid no attention to the whispers around them. It was like time stopped for the two.

Suddenly everything came back to her. Hye Mi quickly wiped her tears with the back of her pale hand.

She softly shook off Kyungsoo's hand. "I'm okay, just sit down." She said, turning back to the window.

Why did she have to act up again? This was the second time getting into contact with Kyungsoo, and this time, he had touched her.

She deliberately shivered, no one has acted that way towards her, in a long time at least.

Maybe she thought wrong about the world. But who did fate think they were to cause such a hassle in her innocent childhood?

In such a young age, she hated life with burning passion.
