Grace and Eli aren't dating. They aren't even friends. Or friends with benefits. There is no label to describe what they have. They've been together-but not together- for as long as anyone can remember. But their individual problems might be too heavy for the other to bear.
Grace is sinking in rough waters. Her father is falling deeper in alcoholism and the anniversary of her mother's death is fast approaching. She starts to lean on Eli, but he's never there to catch her when she falls.
