*Aleks' POV*

"It's me, Aleks. Don't you remember me?"

"Nope what the fuck? Are you someone important?- Ow my head" He said rubbing the bandaged part of his head.

My eyes start tearing up again.

"Um Aleks is it? Can you please wait outside for a while? I'll just give him a little check up and update you if needed" The doctor said bringing me out of the room.

"Okay but please fix him"

"I'll do my best"

I stayed outside while waiting for the doctor to come out. After a while, Eddie's mom got back with a platter.

"Excuse me what is that?" I asked her. "It's my spaghetti, Eddie's favorite dish" she said opening it and showing me a bit of it. "Ooh, looks and smells delicious. I'm sure he'll love this serving." I complimented her cooking. "Thanks" she said going nearer to the door until I stopped her. "I'm sorry but you can't enter yet." "Why not?" "Because Eddie woke up and I called the doctor to check up on him." "Oh well okay I'll wait with you out here"

¤ A few minutes later ¤

"So sweet of you to visit your best friend in a time of need" She broke the silence. I looked at her with a confused face, "So you never heard? Eddie and I-" "Ms. Cardona? May I have a word with you about Eddie?" The doctor interrupted. "May I come too?" I asked for permission from the both of them.

"If it's okay with-" "yea sure" Eddie's mom answered. "Thanks" I said as I followed them to the room.

As we entered the room, Eddie was awake and staring at me. The three of us get to the other side of the room where Eddie can't hear what we're discussing..

"So what's the problem doctor?" She asked.

"The problem is...

...Eddie has the case of amnesia."

Eddie's mom bursted out into tears once the doctor told the truth. She dug her head to my shoulder and started sobbing. I pat her back to comfort her and lean a little to the right to see Eddie's confused stare. Our eyes lock for a while until he breaks the stare to look away.

I turn a little to face the doctor making sure I don't interrupt Ms. Cardona's embrace. "Is it possible to fix him? Because I would do ANYTHING to bring him back to normal." I said facing the doctor.

"Well, he WOULD remember some stuff from the past, like family n' other basic knowledge. It'll take a while, but the others, like the stuff that recently occurred, you two should help with that, IF he remembers you" He said pointing his index finger at me.

"But- what if- what if- he doesn't remember me?" I started tearing up again. "He will. If he doesn't, I'll help him remember. Because you know why? Because you guys are bbf, beyond best friends." Ms. Cardona said removing her sobbing face from the sweater I was wearing, Eddie's sweater. Her tears made a wet stain on it but she apologized at the moment she noticed it. I shared a smile to her for making me feel better.

"So, doctor, when will he-" I was about to ask until I was interrupted by my phone's ringtone. "Hold on"

I reached in for the buzzing phone in my pocket to see that I got a text.

To: Aleks
From: unknown number

Hey man, wanna record some more? The guys were just about to record some more Treetopia and the fans love you.

After reading the message, my thoughts immediately shifted back to Eddie. I decided to reply moments later.

Hey James, Eddie got into an accident last night and we're here at the General Hospital of Denver, Colorado. The doctor says its possible amnesia but we're not sure. Maybe you guys could come over to visit.

I reread the text and sent it. Seconds later, I got a reply.

Sure. We're on our way. Tell him to get some rest. Keep your hopes up.

*Seamus' POV*

Not really a fantastic day today. Everyday is never a fantastic day. The sky was full of clouds, the sun didn't give a shit, and noise pollution covered the streets. People say I'm not really a peppy person. Only one person can make me realize the real feeling of happiness, and that person is-- James.

He was on the phone, inviting Eddie and Aleks to the house.

As he was reading the text from Aleks, his face had a sudden change of expression from happy to upset.

I'm bad at keeping secrets so my curiosity just went ahead and asked him what was going on. He just smushed his finger to my lips to tell me to keep quiet. I rolled my eyes and just waited for an answer.

After a while, he put his phone down and shouted to the whole household.

"Hey guys we're going to the hospital to visit Eddie and Aleks." James shouted. James is loud, that's one of the most things I love about him.

"How'd they get there?" Jordan asked coming from the kitchen.

"I'll tell you in the car" James said hurriedly picking up the keys from the counter and walking to the door with Jordan and Dan behind him. He stopped as he noticed that I didn't move from my spot on the dining table.

"You going?" James said as the other two bump into his back due to the sudden stop.

"Nahh I'm just gonna follow."

"Well okay. I'll just say you were busy."

"Kay."
