Chapter 11

Alexia's POV

We walked into the rock together Michael on my left Kylie on my right. Jay on Michael's right and Gray on Kylies left and made our way towards the bar to wait for our fight. the bartender was different from the last time I was here. I didn't recognize him. He told us his name was Jerry. Okay so I should probably tell you our fighter names. Mine as you know is Icy Winter, Kylie's is Poison, Jay is Thorne. Michael is Raven, Gray is Vapor. so we sat and waited until they called us to come fight. I was excited already.

Eventually the announcer called out "FIGHTING TODAY WE HAVE GOLEM AGAINST RAVEN!!!!" Michael easily won that match and came to sit down with hardly a mark on him as this 'golem' guy was not a very good fighter, he barely even managed to get a hit in. there were now several fights between some of the lesser fighters. Finally one of us got to go again. It was Kylie sorry I meant Poison. She was fighting against Flame. I was sure she could take him as I beat him last week. Damn. I was so wrong. She lost. He actually beat her, I guess he has been training. She came back to us with a look of shock and a bit of shame on her face. I don't know why she was taking this one so seriously, she has lost fights before. when my turn eventually came around the announcer called out "AND FIGHTING OUR UNDEAFEATED FIGHTER ICY WINTER IS KAY!!!" I walked up onto the stage ready to face who ever this Kay was. but when we saw each other we were shocked okay so Kay is Dean? What? when the match started we looked at each other a bit of shock still lingering on our faces but I was ready to beat him. he took a punch at my face but I blocked it easily I on the other hand took this as an opportunity to send a flurry of punches to his face he managed to block a few but not all and the ones I did get in were good enough to make him stumble I immediately noticed his stumble and sent a kick to the back of his knee causing him to fall. Eventually when he regained his balance I sent a roundhouse kick to his head causing him to be knocked unconscious. After my fight it was Gray's turn to go up and fight. he fought someone named June yes June is a female. But in street fighting you can never judge a persons ability to fight just based on their gender. I admit she was pretty good I've seen her around before. She's not as good as Kylie or Jay or me and definitely not good enough to win the fight she was about to participate in. I was right in under five moves gray had won that fight. After Gray's fight we sat at the bar and spoke lightly nothing to serious while we waited for Jay's turn. Eventually after about five matches was time for Jay I mean Thorne to go up. she was versing Jay so that was interesting. it wasn't a very long fight as Jay was good really good so she won easily. After Jay had her turn we ordered a round of shots and downed them before heading to go get our money I made a total of $5000 whereas Michael got $3000, Jay got $2500, Gray got $3000 as well and Kylie had to come home empty handed. I felt bad for her.

When we got back home everyone scurried off to their rooms while I disappeared into the kitchen to get something to eat I was hungry. Food in hand I made my way upstairs and stopped at Kylie's door. I knocked and heard a soft 'come in' so I walked in, she was wrapped up in blankets in her bed I sat on Kylie's bed next to her. "What's up?" I ask her. she just shrugs and says "I just felt a bit off today and I was overthinking." oh that explains a lot when Kylie overthinks she gets really quiet and upset because she gets stuck in her own head and sometimes she doesn't know how to handle it. I do that to sometimes, your own head could be a very dark place at times. "Do you want to talk about it?" I ask. She shakes her head and I felt a pang of disappointment before nodding and telling her "Okay well get some rest if you change your mind and want to talk you know where I am." she nods then looks at me and says "Thanks and you to. I knw you are hiding something." I nod a bit surprised by her words. before I walk out of her room and towards mine only then realizing I hadn't even eaten my sandwich. I reach my room and walk inside. I quickly change into something more comfortable to sleep in before setting my alarm clock and climbing into my bed and eating my sandwich. I took out my book to read a little bit as I wasn't that tired and reading at night usually makes me want to sleep. I read about nine chapters of the book before turning off my lights and eventually drifting off into a deep sleep. that book was seriously interesting.

I was seriously dreading going to school tomorrow.
