The nerd??

Chapter 5

When I finally got home I made myself a sandwich. Then decided I better tell my father so I grabbed my jacket, wrote a quick note to my mother and headed for the gangs house hoping my father was there and not out.
I got there in five minutes, oh I forgot to mention it takes at least fifteen minutes to reach the gangs house of you follow the speed limits.
I walked in and was immediately surrounded by the gang.
So I think I should tell you the members of the gang. Their names are:
Alexander (Alex) ➡ Boy, 17
Jack ➡ Boy, 16
Gray ➡ Boy, 18
Blake ➡ Boy, 18
Summer ➡ Girl, 17
Liam ➡ Boy, 16
Theo ➡ Boy, 17
George ➡ Boy, 16
Kylie ➡ Girl, 18
Fred ➡ Boy, 18
Riley ➡ Girl, 17
Jake ➡ Boy, 17
Denver ➡ Boy, 16
John ➡ Boy, 18
Michael (Mike) ➡ Boy, 18
James ➡ Boy, 17
Oliver ➡ Boy, 20
Jay ➡ Girl, 18
Jordan ➡ Boy, 19
My father (Richard)➡ Man, 53
And lastly me ➡ Girl, 18

So now that you've met the gang let me go do what I came here to do. Talk to my dad.
"Where's my father?" I ask. Oliver was the first to reply and said "Upstairs in the computer room." I run up the stairs and about over my shoulder "Thanks!"

I went to the computer room and walked in, not bothering to knock. My father seemed a bit surprised to see me here but quickly shrugged it off and said "Hey what are you doing here." I smiled at him and said "I'm here to talk to you, what are you doing?"  He now looked even more confused as I hardly ever just come here to talk. "Oh I'm tracking a gang. So what did you want to talk about?" I decide not to bother making small talk and get straight to the point. "The gang that attends my school knows I'm not really a nerd." Now his confusion turned to anger "What gang at your school? Why didn't you mention this sooner? How do they know you aren't a nerd?"
I sighed before replying "The gang that attends my school is called The Pythons, I only mentioned it now because I wasn't sure if they knew or not and I don't know how they know I'm not a nerd but somehow they figured it out."
He furrows his brow before coming to a decision "Okay so stop pretending to be a nerd. I will send Jay, Kylie, Gray and Michael to school with you just incase. That's final no arguing. They will have the same schedule as you and you will walk with them at all times and please drive one of the nice cars to school." I nod before saying "But I like the Ford mustang. But I will dress nicely and take one of my bikes to school. Should I invite Jay, Kylie, Gray and michael back with me? I have cars and bikes for them to use and we have many guest bedrooms as you know."
"Yes just tell them to pack clothes and report back to me so I can explain to them what their job is."
I did what I was told and then left and headed back home as they knew where I lived.
