Chapter 26: Spending the Day With My Family
I woke up around 8:30 with Lucas wide awake next to me and all of our seven, little, wonderful kids at the foot of our bed.
"What are you all doing awake!?" I exclaimed.
"We wanted to see you!" My little shy, Mommy's girl, Lacie said.
"Yeah, we missed you." Spencer agreed.
"What do you want?" I asked, knowing my kids are only sweet when they want something.
"We want to have fun with you and Daddy." Devin said.
"Yeah!" Jacob yelled out. I picked him up and began tickling him all over. He laughed and all my kids joined me on tickling Jacob. All my cute little girls we wearing pink, princess, footy pajamas with their blonde hair at the top of their head in a pony. While my sons had their blue, trucks, footy pajamas with their dirty blonde hair scattered across their head.
"Ok, let's get off Jacob, he has Mommy's asthma." I yelled.
"What is assma?" Noah asked.
"Honey, it's called ASTHMA not assma, and it's a sickness in your air pipes." I told him, making it simpler for them to understand.
"Does it go away?" Tori asked.
"Sadly, no." I told her.
"Who else in our house has asthma?" Danni asked.
"Just Jacob and I." I replied to her.
"Nana has it too." Lucas added.
"That's where I get it from." I said.
"Oh." All the kids said.
"Let's all take a bath and we can go to Bounce Magic." Luke said.
"Yeah!!" They all screamed and ran to their rooms to pick out clothes. Bounce Magic is a place with a bunch of bounce houses, mini-golf, and an arcade.
"Bounce Magic sounds fun. Isn't that the place we went for our first date?" I said to Luke, getting out of bed.
"Yeah, happy anniversary." He said and kissed me.
"We didn't get married today." I told him.
"I know, today is the anniversary of our first date." He said.
"Oh, I completely forgot! I'm so sorry." I told him.
"It's ok." He said.
"I should go get the bath ready for the girls, and I'll use our bathroom. You should go start the boy's bath." I told him as I walked out of the room to grab my four daughters and bring them to my bathroom. I came back with them and started the water for the bath. The water was warm and the bath tub was full, so I put all four girl in and started to shampoo their hair, after the shampoo came the conditioner, and then their little bodies. I got them out and got out four towels to wrap their bodies in, which I did. I dressed them all in jean shorts and a teeshirt of their choice and I brushed their hair and put it back up at the top of their heads. I sent them off to play so I could shower, which I did. After my shower I got dressed in jean shorts and a blue cami, then I blow dried my hair and put it into a messy pony. Luke showered then we ate breakfast, and piled into our vehicle and drove to Bounce Magic.
Once we got to Bounce Magic, chaotically, we unloaded the kids and they all ran off in different directions.
"DANIELLA, VICTORIA, DEVIN, LACIE, SPENCER, NOAH, AND JACOB! GET BACK HERE NOW!!!" Luke yelled. All my kids came running back.
"You do NOT run off like that!" He scolded.
"Sorry." I heard murmured seven times.
"Now pair up in twos." He told them. Here are the pairs, Danni and Tori, Devin and Lacie, Spencer and Noah, while Jacob didn't get a partner. He usually didn't, I was always his partner, since he's the youngest.
"Now, no mini-golf, or arcade. Only bounce house and if you get lost, come back to this table and sit here. Also, no talking to strangers and stay with your partners." Luke explained and all the kids ran off except for Jacob.
"Which one do you want to do first?" I asked, carrying him.
"That one." He said, pointing to a big one with trucks.
"Ok, let's go." I said and walked towards it.We got in and he went through the maze about fifteen times before he wanted to go to a different one. We went to another bounce house with all these jungle animals. At about 1:30 we got out and I took Jake to the table with Luke and went to get all three groups of two. First, I found Danni, Tori, Devin, and Lacie in the princess bounce house and I took them to Luke and went off the search for Noah and Spencer. I found them in a bounce house with dinosaurs and I pulled them out and walked back to Lucas.
"Finally found them?" He chuckled.
"Yes, no thanks to you." I smiled.
"Hey!" He joked and acted offended.
"You're such a bad actor." I said, bending over laughing.
"Yeah. Daddy you suck." Danni said.
"Daniella! You do NOT speak to your father that way!" I scolded. "And you do not say suck."
"Sorry Daddy." She said.
"It's ok." He said putting her on his lap, as she started crying.
"Let's get some pizza." I said.
"PIZZA!!" My seven kids yelled in unison.
"Shh!" I hissed.
"Pizza." The loudly whispered. I just had to laugh. I went up and bought 9 pieces of pizza and eight drinks. I fed Jacob his baby-food and then I ate my pizza, Luke ate his two pieces, and all six of the kids ate their piece. By then, it was 3:00 and we went to play a game on mini-golf and then I gave then each a dollar to play a few games in the arcade. We left at 4:30 and by the time we got home, it was 5:15. The kids had fallen asleep in the car, so we laid the kids down on the couch and they continued sleeping. At around seven they woke up and were ready for dinner. So we ate left over food and we put in a movie. By nine, they were upstairs, asleep and Luke and I were headed that way too. At eleven Luke and I were in bed, asleep. That was my hectic day with my loving family.
