Chapter one: Acceptance Letter

Hi Everyone,

My name is Aria Montgomery. This is my story how I made my dream come true and how I left my family and friends behind. I always learn that if you have one life to live you can live it. That's what my mom always say to be when I was growing up. You are going to meet my family and friends throughout this book

During my nine hours of sleep on an early Saturday morning, I got woken up from my angry alarm clock that is next to my bed with my phone. I try to turn off my alarm that left like forever.

" Why won't this alarm clock stop it's the weekend let me sleep," I say to myself while I try to turn off the arm clock and I see what time it's and I know that I had couple more hours until I get my acceptance Letter in the mail. I thought I was suppose to get my letter when my mom got home today Today my mom is doing something for the school like some time of party for a coworkers of hers.

Let's meet my mom. My mom is an English Teacher at my high school. Where she work every single day besides Sunday. My dad says that I get my smarts from my mom but I don't think so. Who would think that.... I got that answer NO ONE.

After 4 mins after I try to go back to sleep with my alarm clock going wild. So I decided to get up and get ready for today. I look myself in the mirror.

" I am so nervous I hope I get in", I said while looking at my the mirror.

I look at the clock again to see what time its and I have a few more hours left until I change schools and leave my family and friends here behind.

I think I forgot how to tell you how I choose this route in life. It was during my 6-grade year at my elementary school and middle school and high school. When the drama did couple of plays and I got to play the main roll for them. That is all have to tell you about my life.

I started to get bored after watching movies on my computer and doing some other homework before I graduate. So I decided to write in my journal. Writing in my journal is something I hardly do but it something I do when I get bored or nervous.

Dear Diary, Jan. 4,2017

This is the day in my life changed forever. I wish the mailman arrive already. I been waiting for since I mail out the letter. This acceptance letter is to the most amazing art school in America. This art school located in New York and this where many of our favorite actor, actress and artist. The school is where I need to go by following my dream. I will write again soon and let you know how it goes.

As I close my journal. I started to heart some noises that are from the outside. I look outside and saw that my mom is home. Then I remember that she had a party to go too. I hurry downstairs to see if it came.

As soon I went downstairs my mom had in her hand was much of mail.

" Hey mom, did I get anything in the mail", I seen my mom at the door as my mom look through the mail.

"No, Sweetie, but I am sure that it will come, don't worry it will come and you would get in the school of your dreams," as my mom smile at me.

" Thanks mom, I just so nervous and I thought I probably get it to day" I look at my mom unhopeful.

" I know sweetie". As my mom said that I hugged her and return to my room and texted my brother who at practice, I think.

So I have this brother name Mike. He is my little brother. My brother and I are really close. We do try to keep ourselves in line like our parents wanted to. Mike is a year younger than me but sometimes he asks like a real older brother. I can talk with anything about. Sometimes he asks like he don't care. Mike is on the lacrosse team at the high school.

Text Conversations:

Me - Hey Super Mike. The letter did not come today like I I was hoping for. I never going to get in. Who kidding right they don't want me everything we sent for that didn't work.

Mike - Hey Raising Star. I am at practice I thought I told you that. Hey listen to me everything going to be alright. I told coach that I need my phone because my sis needs me for today and he's okay so I will be here if you need anything. Plus we all know if you mail something it takes couple of days to get. What I mean is sis maybe they mail it out late.

Me- Thanks, I need that help I really do feel better. Love you super Mike. Have fun at practice Mom left out food for you to get mom and dad still haven't came come yet. I think he cheating on her. :(

Mike - Anything time sis, Thanks, see you when I get home. He better not be.

My family aren't your normal American family. You see my parents meet at a very young age. They both were in college when they meet. Mom and dad are both teachers.

For my dad he teaches at the local college here. All the time for the pass come of months or even weeks if you skip count, he's been home late, This when we are all sleep.He always want me his little girl grow up and become like my parents. Well I have big dreams than that.

This evening at dinner my father was a no show again. So my brother and mom and I had our supper in quite. I look at my family and finish eating and went up to my room and got ready to go sleep. This day been crazy. I just wish I had that one thing that told me I get out of here. I hope it's here Monday or sometime in the next week. After I got dress and got ready for bed I lookout from my window that the world was calling my same. I told myself see you later world. I got into my bed and went to sleep.
