I wake up and go downstairs where I see victor and Enoch talking but as soon as they see me they stop, jake runs in
"Happy birthday jessica." He says calmly
"What?" Enoch says
"my birthday is on September 3rd." I said looking at enoch as a Blush takes over my face
"Oh happy birthday." He says with a cheeky smile
"Thank you." I reply
"What do what for your birthday jessica?" Victor asks, I whisper in his ear
"A kiss from enoch." I look down blushing and victor looks at enoch whose face is full of confusion
"Enoch please take jessica up to your room and show her your new doll." Victor says, he obeys and takes me upstairs and into his room, he points at the table where a doll sits
"Happy birthday." He says looking at the doll, I look at it and hug enoch he returns the gesture, I look up and he looks down at me slowly leaning in
"Hey jes-." Jake walks in and covers his eyes running out the door, I look at enoch only to find a very annoyed look on his face as he looks down he slams his lips onto mine with force I sit in shock and kiss back as he picks me up and sits me in his table while standing in between my legs, I kiss him with an equal amount of force while running my fingers through his hair as he groans, olive walks in and as soon as she sees us she runs and pushes enoch off of me and slaps me, I feel blood coming out of my nose as I get up and run downstairs right into hugh
"Sorry." I say in a panic trying to hide my nose he lifts my chin as he drags me into the bathroom and helps me handle my bleeding nose, after we are all finished I thank him and walk outside when I walk outside I see horace and decide to go sit next to him
"Hello jessica, how are you today?" He asks
"Im in the serious need of a cuddle." I say only to have horace lift me up and start carrying me to my room, he gently lays me on the bed as he takes off his jacket and lays down next to me I put my head in the crook of his neck and cuddle with him
"Thanks horace." I say falling asleep, the next thing I hear is miss peregrine yelling for the children to come down, I wake up horace and we walk downstairs where I see Jake and a man holding a knife to his neck
"Jake." I scream trying to run to him as strong hand wrap around my waist holding me away from my friend, I scream and punch the person holding me while I turn around to a worried enoch holding onto me and a fuming olive I give up knowing that he stronger than me I just sit there looking into the eyes of my scared bestfriend and cry , miss peregrine tells us to go into the room and we over and the last thing we see is jake getting pushed into the room and the doors closing, I run into the arms of my bestie and cry
"Thu ignorant fèin a chur sa mheadhan air dimwit." I say in scottish which means 'you ignorant placed in the center (self  centered) dimwit' , I cry
"Jessica that's just cruel." Enoch says with a smirks
"What did she say." Jake asks him
"She called you some stuff in scottish." He replied shrugging
I laughed
"You'd know something about being cruel." I said looking at him, his eyes filled with hurt but he still showed no emotion, jake came up with a plan as the hollow bursted through to door and picked up enoch swinging him around frantically, jake shot the hollow and it dropped enoch as olive ran to his side I turned my back knowing that the guy I love doesn't love me back.
We ran upstair into the attack and locked the door as jake told us to through the window I was the second to last person out I went before olive and landed safely then olive came down and hit me knocking me off by the room I screamed in pain as I landed on the ground dislocating my should
"Jessica are you okay." Jake and enoch asked at the same time
"Yep." I lied as I got up and almost screamed from the pain but I didn't I ran to help the children to safety after we were all safe and jake had killed the hollow we went on our way
"Hey good job taking that fall." Clair said lightly punching my arm, I screamed in pain and collapsed on the ground.
"What happened." Olive said in fake shock even tho I heard the amusement in her voice.
"Nothing im fine." I said through my gritted teeth and stood up walking ahead of everyone as we got to the beach Jake and emma were talking about a boat.
