My Mate From Hell

Back home

Upon arriving back at my house I was greeted  by my brother and my father.

Engulfed in hugs by both of them felt slightly comforting.

Then they saw Ethan and were very shocked.

"I have been cursed and I need to talk to Dahlia  I heard I need to see a witch" I sort of rambled so they couldn't say anything to Ethan that would start something.

'We might be staying for the night' I mind linked my brother.

He grimaced.

I chuckled.

Ethan and I headed over to the pack witch.

After telling us the symptoms she said that she would have to go gather supplies to create something that should help me.

Bad news! There is no guarantee this will work.

It's worth a shot I guess.

"Show me your pack."

I questioned him with my eyes

"Maybe it will teach me about you."
"After me" I stated.

I walked him through the Forrest that surrounded my pack.

I explained to him why there were so many tree houses (pack children)

Next we headed to the pack houses which were decent sized for family with three bedroom and two baths.

Each member could decorate it and paint it their own way.

I explained to him how each house is the same just with a different layout.

Next we headed to some of the little shops and our pack diner.

My favorite place to go when I wanted to draw.

OF course I left that piece of info out.

We continued walking around

"Are you hungry?" I asked him

As if on cue his stomach growled.

We both burst it laughing and for a moment I thought I saw something worth saving in him.

I shook my head and showed him into our alpha housing which is where I used to live.

I told him to take a seat at the counter and handed him a remote to watch some tv.

Surprisingly he didn't turn it on

'Where are you guys' attending business with the misfortune pack we will be back tonight.

"What would you like to eat?"

"Surprise me" he said.

I figured he would say that.

I decided to make food for my father and brother as well they probably miss my cooking.

I decided on chicken with Parmesan and bread crumbs.

"I didn't know you knew how to cook"

"It's something you learn when you're an alphas daughter."

I wanted to say when you're the only female left in your family.

But I didn't want him to know about my mom just yet.

I set the oven and placed the chicken inside.

All of a sudden it was pouring rain outside.

"We should just stay here for the night it's dangerous to drive" he said

I nodded.

"We can sleep in my old room" I led him into the living room and put on the movie Inception (hint to my next book (;)
