Luckily Mark understood the situation and let it be. He didn't try to pursue anything with me so far which I am grateful of.

He rubbed some ointment onto my back and I laid on my stomach.

"Who is your mate?"

"Ethan Grey" he looked surprised.

"I can see why this happened to you."

I nodded

"It's like he has multiple personalities, one day he is nice and the next he does this."

Mark gave me a muscle relaxer and helped me into bed.

"Thanks" I murmured before my muscles complete stopped functioning and I couldn't move.

I felt the pain of being away from your mate.

I could tell Ethan was trying to search for something through mind link but there was nothing for him to find.

Ethan:

Soreness captured my body.

It took me a few minuetes to get up.

I slowly recalled what happened earlier.

She drugged Colt.

"She attacked one of my pack members!"

'That girl HAS a history of lying YOU could see it in her eyes she wasn't lying. This is exactly why everyone hates and fears you. You can't just let her in and be nice to her but then when you get scared you're getting too attached and use everything she told you against her.'

My eyes widened

I was so mad I couldn't even think about what she told me.

Everything she said all her scars, and I used the same methods on her.

I grabbed a glass and threw it against the wall.

She thinks she will get away

I couldn't help laughing

I am the best hunter of this pack, and if she thinks she can escape me she will be in for a surprise

I sent a message to everyone in the town.

"Anyone with information about a girl leaving here a few hours ago will receive a reward."

My wolf couldn't fight the tearing feeling of his wild, possessive instincts.

I have always liked a game of chase, and I have never lost.

I couldn't fight the urge to start clench my jaw.

Not having her here is driving me crazy.

The phone rang and I ran to pick it up.

"A girl driving a Honda Pilot asked to swap cars with me I didn't know why but she said rogues were after her." Said a fellow pack member

"Your reward will be the next two weeks off and if you want to use my vacation home be my guest take your mate out. You can leave your kids in the pack day care, and if you want someone will watch them."

"Thank you alpha."

A growl rippled through me when I caught my first scent of her.
