Zane POV

We looked around the school for him even in the school and no sign of him. "Where oh where can Max be?" said Mackenzie, "i don't know" i replied, "We have to find him!" Said Natalie.

As we search and search we could not find him and before we knew it the bell rang for period 4. "What are we gonna do??" Said Natalie, "I'll text him during class" said Mackenzie, "I'll call him again" I said, "ok meet at the end of period 6" said Natalie. I called him many times and ran out of excuses to go to the bathroom then the PA rang during a math test.

"Zane Crest, Natalie Wayne And Mackenzie Burgess please come to the main lobby to be picked up" I asked to be excused and head down to the lobby. I find Mackenzie's mom waiting for us. "Hello kids please get in the car... I have some bad news" said Mackenzie's mom, "What bad news?" I asked, "I'll explain in the car" me Natalie and Mackenzie he to the car and get in.

"So what is the bad news mom?" said Mackenzie, "Kids, Max is in trouble with the council again and this time it's serious, and it's not looking good for him now" Mackenzie's mom said, "What happened?" asked Natalie, "He got caught feeding on a little girl last night and fled the scene without touching the body at all" oh shit that wasn't Max, it was me. "Why would he do that! he always hides his body's" said Mackenzie, "Well not this time" said Mackenzie's mom, "That is terrible!" said Natalie, "I know but we are heading to the council now" said Mackenzie's mom, we had a long car ride and we made it finally to the gate,

"We are here" said Mackenzie's mom, we had to get our blood tested in order to get in (we have a different type of blood so human blood wouldn't work)

As the portal opened Natalie held me tight "This is scary hold me" she said frightened, I hold her tight, the reason why the portal is scary is because the portal gives bad memory's of everyone who passes through it.

after about 1 minute of portal time, we make it to the castle entrance, "ok kids we made it, now follow me and don't wander off!" said Mackenzie's mom, I hold Natalie's hand as we walk through, I could hear Mackenzie mumble something about us, "shut up!" I whisper, we make it to the doors to the council but between us and the doors were guards big ass guards.
