Chapter 5

Zane POV.

I was so pissed at myself I couldn't think straight, I mean I just sent my best friend to the Chamber for something I did! What the fuck?!? "Zane are you ok?" Natalie asked. "Yeah.. I'm fine.." I replied quietly, we walk back to the car and Mackenzie's mom drives me home I say my goodbyes and go strait to bed, but the thing is I couldn't sleep at all.

I just couldn't think straight, my mind was cluttered of what I did. then after a good long hour I doze off. about 3 hours later I awake to a noise, a strange noise coming from the kitchen, I walk slowly towards the sound of footsteps in the kitchen, I stop at the foot of the kitchen door and wait. I still hear the noises, Just as I was gonna jump through the door and attack I feel a stabbing pain in my stomach I feel liquid seep from my belly I look down to see a knife in my chest but before I could turn around I passed out.

Natalie POV.

It's morning my alarm clock wakes me up at the right time before school, I get up brush my teeth brush my hair and run to Zane's house. as I arrive I notice the door is open, I open the door to reveal a lot of blood. "what happened here?" I said. "Zane! Zane! are you here?!" No reply. I run to Zane's room and no one was there, I return to the blood and scoop some on my fingers and taste. it's not human blood.. it's Zane's!
