Zane POV

"State your business" said one of the guards, "We are here for the court measure" said Mackenzie's mom, "Ok go through" we walk through the gate and see loads of people well vampires to be exact, lots of them were yelling things like, "he should be ashamed! almost revealing our kind to them!" or, "what's wrong with him!" lots of cursing involved but let's not get to detail, we sat down next to a family of four with one boy and one girl, they looked cute but both of them were yelling at my best friend.. then a guy stood at the podium, "all please rise for the judge makes his entrance" everyone stood up as the judge enters the room, "bring forth the juvenile!" said the judge, we turn our heads to see Max walk through the big doors with the guards close by him, he got tripped by one of the crowd members the guard pushed him to his feet, "those bastards..." said Mackenzie, "watch your mouth!" said Mackenzie's mom smacking him, "all may sit" said the judge, "Max Burgess, you have been called to this court today because of your careless hunting, you left a body in plain sight, luckily no human saw the body, do you recall?" "N-no I don't recall at all your honor I didn't feed that night" said Max, "well you must have not seen the camera footage then.. show him the video" they played the video from that night, I was very nervous, tapping my foot, cracking my knuckles, and biting my tongue, "Zane what's wrong?" asked Natalie silently, "nothing I'm fine" I hated the feeling of someone taking the blame for something that they didn't do it's scary, but I did it I don't see why they didn't know it was me who fed that night. "Max you are so young for doing such a terrible thing... why do it?" said the judge, "I didn't do it!" Max said, "its useless Max we have it all on tape, your only making it worse for yourself" "I sentance you to either death, or.. the chamber for 17 years. your choice" ( the chamber is like jail but for vampires and has torture machines in it ) " I choose.... The chamber" said Max crying slightly, "since I am in a good mood you have 24 hours till. You leave" "thank you your honor" said Max "my pleasure. Case closed!!" Everyone gets up to leave but us me and Nat and Mackenzie run to Max and give him a hug, "guys I don't know what I did wrong" said Max crying, "no one did Max, no one did" said Natalie.
