Chapter 19: "Maymay vs. Valerie!"

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Una sa lahat gusto ko po kayong pasalamatan sa pagtnagkilik sa kwento ng #Mayward. This is my first full Tagalog and Non-Fiction Novel at natutuwa ako kasi pinaabot niyo na pos iya 3,000 reads!!! Ansarap sa pakiramdam na nakakarelate kayo sa kwento nila Maymay at Edward. Ansarap sa pakiramdam na nababasa ko ang mga COMMENTS ninyo kung paano kayo naapektuhan sa kanilang kwento. Maymay's POV

So it happened! The pictorial was over two weeks ago and I suddenly see myself sa isa sa mga billboard sa EDSA. Para akong maloloka sa tuwa at sa sarap ng pakiramdam na makita ang sarili ko sa isang major billboard sa EDSA, and who knows kung saan pa. But.... There's a catch...it wasn't only me on the billboard but also Valerie! Tinanong ko kung paano nangyari yun pero sabi ni Edward we had a separate shoot for the ad. The billboard is divided into two, ang Black and Red Pictorial ko at ang isa naman ay ang White at Silver ni Valerie. This is the Mercedez Benz car face off ad.

"My gosh ikaw ba talaga yan? Paano nangyari na meron kang ganyan na pagmumukha lakas naman makaphotoshop!" Si Aura na titig na titig sa kanyang cellphone. The picture had gone viral sa school and I suddenly felt so famous and impottant.

"Lakas mong makainggetera beshie no? di ba pwede maging masaya ka na lang sakin?" sabi ko sakanya

"Pero in fairness si Valerie lakas maka VS model. Ikaw lakas maka Wilma peg" Agad ko siyang binatukan.

"Panira sa billboard yang Valerie na yan" Sabi ko

"Ay bitter!,,," Wika ni Aura. Agad namang dumating si Marco kasama si Vivoree. They congratulated me with the photo,

"OMG you are a bigtime supermodel already!" Si Vivoree who looks very happy for me. "So when will they launch you?" She asked. Napalingon ako sakanya with sheer confusion.

"Bezzy...you know that this is the biggest campaign of Mercedez Asia right?" It was Kisses who was busy reading something sa phone niya. "It says here that the Mercedez Benz Fashion week will launch the career of the two top supermodels of Asia Valerie Pressman and Mary Dale"

"What? I was just a fill in model kasi nagkasakit yung main model" Sabi ko.

"Like what Tyra always say...One day you're in the next day you're out... sorry sa model na nagkasakit but it's your time and you are the new face of Mercedez Benz."

"But I didn't agree to any of this..." I said. Kisses and Vivoree looked at me.

"So you didn't sign anything? Like contract?"

"Hindi nga kasi biglaan lang yan pinakiusapan lang ako ni Miss Laura to do it"

"Then if you won't do the rest of the fashion show and photoshoot Miss Laura's agency will be in big trouble...We are talking millions of damage payment here" I didn't know that this would be like this. Ano ang gagawin ko?

"You need to talk to Edward about this. I'm sure alam niya na ganito ang kakahitnatnan ng accidental photoshoot mo"

I received a message from Eward's mom asking me for dinner and alam ko na kung anong paguusapan namin. Maybe it's better this way to talk about what's happening and what will happen next. Excited na kinakabahan ako sa meeting, I mean I like the attention given to me since that photoshoot bigla akong naging Diyosa sa paningin ng nakakarami.
