Friday couldn't possibly have come around any slower, I had everything planned to perfection and couldn't wait. Pulling on my best black skinny jeans and red converse I left the house and drove round the block just like I had told jade I would. When I pulled into the drive again I couldn't rid myself of the nervous feeling in my stomach, walking up to the door I took a few calming breaths and knocked. After a few seconds her dad answered the door, stepping outside and closing the door behind him he looked at me with a small smile and signalled for me to sit down on the bench. "I trust you sky" he said quietly so that jade wouldn't hear. "so I know my only child will be fine with you, but if I find out you hurt her, or break her heart and you will loose the ability to have children. Do you understand?" I gulped. "you have no need to worry sir" I croaked. "I won't ever hurt your daughter." he nodded and smiled but I could see in his eyes that he had meant what he had said, but I knew I would never hurt jade as long as I lived. Standing up he shook my hand and went back indoors to get jade, moments later he returned with jade following behind him.she looked incredible Dressed in grey ripped skinnies and military boots and a leather jacket, "ready to go?" I asked having to force my eyes away from her beautiful face. "yep" she confirmed popping the P. Walking towards the car I opened her door and waited for get to step in then ran round to my side, starting the ignition I couldn't keep the happy smile off my face, today would be brilliant.
Pulling into the clearing I stepped out and held her door, smiling I took her hand gently in mine and led her towards the river. My smile grew larger when I heard her gasp, I had laid out a picnic by the river with all her favourite foods and drink. Sitting down I saw her trail her fingers in the water, "ohh sky, this place is beautiful." she whispered in awe. Placing my hand in the small wicker basket I pulled out chocolate and banana sandwiches. "you remembered!" she squeaked. "course I did" she smiled and took a bite, cringing at her bad taste in sandwiches I decided on just having an apple. When we were finished I took out the strawberries and chocolate. Packing up we headed back to the car and drove along the coast to a small beach where I had left some things earlier. Motioning my hand towards a small lounge chair she sat down and I pulled my guitar from behind the rocks, I'd never played for anyone before so I saying I was nervous was an understatement. I sat in front of her and played led zepplins dust in the wind then stairway to heaven. Before I had finished she jumped up and threw the guitar from my hand kissing me like there was no tomorrow. When she pulled back I could see the tears in her eyes, "thank you sky" she sniffed. "this whole date has been incredibly beautiful, I've loved every second" "your welcome jade" I whispered. "I wanted the night to be perfect, I want everything to be perfect for you" smiling I pulled her to me, kissing her gently. Pulling back, I smiled and took her hand, "I've got one last place to bring you, ready to go?" nodding she stood up and absentmindedly took my hand. I really hoped she liked this last part.
Arriving at the promenade I led a very excited jade towards the ferris wheel, paid for our tickets and stepped into a booth. It was a beautiful night, you could hear the fair music playing in the background, the night sky was light up with twinkling stars and the fairy lights gave a warm glow all around our booth. Sighing happily she snuggled into my arms, interlacing our fingers. "tonight has been perfect sky" she mumbled into my side. "I've loved every second of it, thank you" she smiled up at me and I knew that very second she was to be mine forever, I loved being with her and couldn't sleep without her. Hopefully in time shed feel the same about me. Smiling contentedly I rested my chin gently on her head breathing in her scent. Tonight really had been the most perfect night ever. </pre>
