It had been a week and a half since my arrival at Clear Dawn Insane Asylum. They had forced me into punishment everyday. For hours I would spend my time in the chain room where they put me in a straight jacket and chained my legs to the corner. Every day. They refused to let me out until I said something.
Eventually they had to let me eat. I didn't eat. I refused. I knew they were trying to heavily medicate me. They put medication in everyones food. That's why we all have seperate meals. There were a few times that I wanted to eat so badly. My stomach roared a lot now. It wouldn't be long before I would starve to death. I looked down to my stomach once I was back in my own room. Another skipped meal was going to kill me. I was all ribs now.
I looked at my reflection off the window. I had dark bags under my eyes and my face was skinny. My complexion was white as a ghost. I looked down to the sound of my stomach roared loudly and I wanted food so badly. Food that wasn't drugged. Suddenly a voice rang through the intercom.
"Patient 27809, please visit Blaine's office immediately. A nurse will guide you if necessary. That is all."
Danielle looked at me with pleading eyes as if saying "Don't go. Don't trust him Iris.", but I had to. I didn't want to spend any more time in the chain room than I had to. A nurse came to service quickly and escorted me to the office I was requested to be at.
"Blaine has requested a private conversation with you. He shall ring me once he is done and I shall escort you back to your room. Have a nice talk."
I nodded and watched as she turned the corner and walked off. I took a deep breath, making a mental note to not say anything important to them. I won't let them win. This is the game I'm playing, I might as well win it right? I opened the door and walked in.
"Ah Irisette, you've arrived. I thought I was going to have to drag you here."
"Well I'm not that stubborn yet."
"I beg to differ. From the records shown, it seems you haven't eaten anything since you got here. You're going to starve you know. Why won't you eat?"
"Because you drug my food with pills."
"They'll help you."
"Doubt it."
"Now Irisette,--"
He got up from his chair and walked over to me. He went behind me and placed his hands on my shoulders.
"You want your strength dear child. Unless you have any reason to protest."
He started rubbing my shoulders and I could feel his breath at the top of my head. It was uncomforting and unpleasant.
"Blaine, I will ask you once. Please. Get your hand off me, get back to your chair, and talk to me as a normal human being rather than a mere child."
"And if I protest?"
I grit my teeth and shot him a glare of pure hatred. It seemed to be uneffective.
"Blaine, I will hurt you. I will feel no regrets in doing so either. I may kill you if I desire."
I had no clue where these words were coming from. Suddenly, I wasn't myself. I was a darker person. I never in my life, threatened to actually kill someone, let alone have no regrets in doing so. Who was I? Suddenly I felt his hands grab my hair and throw me against a wall.
"You won't speak to me like that again Irisette. I am the warden, not you! You are nothing but a mere test subject!! I can do whatever I want to you and NO ONE WOULD CARE!"
