02- Her

"Mani, come here," Aubree yelled from her room. It was ten o'clock in the morning and I was slick still sleepy. I walked into her room and seen a beautiful bouquet of red and white roses and immediately smiled at her. "Who are they from kid," I asked her, and she just smiled really big. I automatically knew it was from her knuckle head ass boyfriend. I mean he not bad , but he bad you feel me? I don't like how he makes his money that's all, but who am I to judge, I strip for mine. I don't care for him going out with my sister, because they been together since they were in sixth grade and he makes her happy, he never cheated, and he is really sweet and sincere. "Sid sent them for our six year anniversary," she stated while smiling from ear to ear non-stop. I picked her up, hugged her tightly and spinned her around. I put her down and pulled my phone out to call him, but she beat me to it and dialed his number and put it on speaker. 

"Hello," he said in his deep sleepy voice. "Hey baby, you must've just woke up huh," she questioned and he agreed with her. "Thank you for the flowers baby and happy six year anniversary," she said to him. "Be ready at six, cause I'm taking you out," he suggested and she nodded her head as if he could see her. "Alright, see you then," she said and hung the phone up. This is my only sister and I'd do any and everything for her. We don't never fuss and fight, but I guess that's because I'm always at work or school and so is she. The only time we get together is on the weekends or the breaks we have between work and school really. 

Im gonna take her out for the day before she goes on her date. It's Saturday, the sun is out, and the malls would be fun. "Get dressed, we bout to go to the mall," I tell her and she did as told. About 30 minutes later, she walked in the living room wearing an all grey fitted sundress with her mint green and grey Jordan Horizons and her mini mint green book bag. We walked out the door and got in the car and drove off. I decided to go to Stonecrest instead of Lenox today, because I don't want to buy anything too expensive.

When we got to Stonecrest, it was packed like a van full of mexicans. She decided to go to PINK first because they had a seven for thirty-five sale on their panties. She picked out some really cute lace panties and we went to checkout. We then went from store to store eventually turning this little shopping stop to a full blown shopping spree. Around one or two o'clock we realized we haven't ate all day and grew extremely hungry. She decided that she wanted to get food from chick-fil-a in the mall while I went to the little chinese spot there. We ate, did a little more shopping and around that time it was getting close to four o'clock and I just knew she was going to take forever getting ready up until it was time for her to go so I took her back to the house.

"Aye Bre, go ahead and head up, I'm about to go visit Tre right quick, okay," I confirmed with my sister. We hugged and kissed each other before she headed up the stairs to the apartment. I watched her go in with all of her bags then pulled off. Tre is my homeboy from highschool. He's like my bestfriend and I havent heard from him in a couple days so I wanted to go check in on him.

Roughly twenty minutes passed and I was pulling up to his house. I got out of the car and pulled his house key out of my bag. I unlocked the door and yelled out "honey i'm home" and chuckled. I didn't get any response so I went looking around. I looked in the kitchen, nothing. I went to look in the first bedroom but I heard a noise coming from Tre's room. I grabbed my glock out my bag and headed towards the noise. I aimed it at the door but lowered it quickly and went to sit in the living room once I heard the sound of moaning and clapping.

After two episodes of Rick and Morty, I got up to fix me something to eat in the kitchen. Midway through me cooking Tre walked in with nothing but his red and black robe and his matching house shoes on. "Wussup best. What we eating," he asked me. "Nahh nigga you just ate it sound like," I responded and started laughing. He smacked his teeth and said "nigga I wasn't eating I was fucking." While we were laughing, I noticed the girl had came out the room and sat at the counter. "Wussup love, I'm R'mani, Tre's bestfriend," I reached my hand out to introduce myself. She mugged me and ignored my hand while remaining quiet. I looked at Tre then back at her then back at him and bussed out laughing. I was just trying to be nice but now the bitch not eating. She better eat off his plate or order something cause I'm not feeding her.

Once I finished cooking, I fixed two plates and gave one to Tre. I went to sit on the couch with my plate and Tre came and sat next to me. "Ouuu what we watching," he asked me. "Rick and Morty," I responded. Shawty then came to ease herself on the couch next to Tre and put her legs on top his. He pushed her legs off and continued to eat. I chuckled and she darted her eyes at me. I finished my food and cleaned my dishes. I tied my hair up and went to sit back on the couch but every time I moved I could feel her eyes on me. "We got a problem or something," I asked her and Tre started choking on his drink and laughing. I was dead ass serious like what is shawty's problem with me. She just looked at me and remained quiet. "Aye if it's a issue let me know now if not get that stick out your ass and act friendly. I was just trying to be nice to you because I know you his lil shorty and this my bestfriend, but you actin like I'm fucking him too or something. Wussup with that," I questioned her.

Shawty remained quiet and looked away. This bitch only got one more time to side eye or try to intimidate me and I'm going to wail on her ass. I'm trying to give her a chance to be cool with me, but for some unknown ass reason she got a problem with me. I brushed her off and went back to watching the tv. Some time had passed and I just remembered Aubree had a date and I wanted to see her off. I asked Tre if he wanted to come with me and he agreed. I asked him if he was letting shawty stay at the house or if she needed a ride and he said she gone need a ride so I told her to hop in too. We dropped her ass off and she aint even say thank you. We headed to my house just in time because once we got there Aubree was already heading down the stairs and Sid was leaning on his car watching her walk down. Tre and I looked at each other and started smiling big as hell. "She ain't little no more going on a date and shit," he said then walked over and dapped up Sid. I walked over to Bree and hugged and kissed on her. I spoke to Sid and then sent them on their way. Tre and I headed upstairs and chilled at my house for the rest of the day.
