Five Elements ( supergirl fanfiction) ON HOLD

What is my purpose?

Most people here on Earth, can never really find their purpose. Well I'm about to tell you. I'm here for a reason, and I'm staying to find out.

I remembered nothing. Not my name, or anything. I tried to think of anything of me. But it came out as a blank page. I looked around and saw I was in some dark alley. Which had a couple over-filled garbage cans, and rats running around. I started walking out of the alley and saw a red neon sign that said exit. All of a sudden a man in came running out. He was wearing dark clothes. A black bag slung over his shoulder. Then the man went running in the other direction.  

A woman came out of the building and said "Hey! Give that back!"I decided to somehow help her, and get the robber. I started running towards the direction where the robber went. At first I couldn't find him. Then some sort of feeling came to me. It felt like a tug and pull. As if it was saying to go left, and I did. There he was about 50 yards away. There was no way to catch up to him. Again the tug and pull came back. I concentrated on wanting to stop the robber. 

I wanted him to stop. Just as the robber was running away. He stopped and fell over, I saw the pavement coming up and making a bump. I stood there in shock. I thought did I do that? I walked over there and saw that he wasn't moving, maybe he was unconscious. I kneeled down and checking his pulse on his wrist.It was steady. I let out a sigh, thankful he wasn't hurt too bad. 

I saw the black bag by him, and I decided to open it. As I grabbed the black bag and opened it. It seems that he took a big clear crystal. I felt good stopping the robber. I grabbed the man and slung the bag over my shoulder. Just as I was about to take him back to the woman.  I heard the police sirens coming closer by the minute. They stopped the police cars, all four cars surrounded me. All men got out and pointed their guns towards me . "Stop where you are, do not move."the police officer said. "Put the man and the bag down". I did as he said. "Sir I'm confused, I didn't do- I said, but the police officer interrupted me. 

"Put your hands behind your head now! You have the right to be silent. If you do anything, what you can say will be used against you in the law. You have the right to consult with a lawyer and have that lawyer present during any questioning. If you cannot afford a lawyer, one will be appointed for you if you so desire." He said while at the same time he was walking towards me. 

I didn't understand why were they doing this. I opened my mouth and said " What am I being arrested of?" "You are hereby being arrested of assault battery, robbery, and stealing a valuable item" the police officer replied. I felt scared and confused, and angry at the same time. Instead of thanking me for helping them, they assumed I was the robber that did everything. As the police officer got closer and closer. The others still pointing their gun at me.

So I responded the only way a person would  do in my situation. I ran. I ran like hell was chasing me. I probably ran this fast before. But I have no memory of it. I ran towards the police officer that was in front of me. His eyes were wide open and he looked scared. Stop!- He  said. But he hadn't had the chance to finish his sentence.  As soon I went passed the police car.  The pavement cold and rough against my bare feet. I knew I would be getting blister soon. The only thing important right was getting away from these people. 

Bang! Shots started firing off. I heard a bullet whiz past me. I wasn't very far enough from them. "Aah!! I yelled, clutching my arm. I put my hand over the wound. I was trying to stop it from bleeding too much. I was panting hard. My vision was starting to become blurry. I tried running away some more. Again they started shooting at me. I stopped trying to run away. If I did, I don't think I would be alive in a little bit. 

All of the police officer stopped shooting. Waiting to see what I'm going to do next. Silence crept onto us. The tension was so thick in the air. I can feel the fear rolling of them. I stood there still panting and clutching my arm. I'm not sure if I can last much more. I stumbled back. Then one of them shot off their gun. I put my arm in front of my face. Forgetting my wound on my arm. Afraid the bullet would hit me. 

I realized I was on the cold pavement with my arms in front of me still. I had closed my eyes in the moment before. I opened them, and in front of me was unbelievable. There was a wall surrounding me. it seemed to have block the bullet. I got up, and stood somewhat shakily. I used this chance to get away, and before I got far. I heard the police officers saying " 10/47 we need another unit on the field right away. Possibly we need SuperGirl's help. This is an alien she needs to deal with." 

Soon after a while later. When I thought it was safe to assume the police couldn't find me. I found myself in some city park. I looked ahead and saw a white marble fountain . I limped slowly towards it, and sat down. I let out a sigh of relief, finally being able to relax. The pain in my arm was almost unbearable. I groaned out in pain. I let go of my arm and saw my hand all bloody. I turned around and put my hand in the water. I decided to wash most of blood off. Then my wound. 

The water was nice and cool. I felt much better after I got to relax and everything. I decided to only have this break for a little bit and look at my surroundings. There was a bunch of trees, with a bunch of sidewalks. It was peaceful, as there no people around. I looked up to the city. It was somewhat pretty. But the only thing I really wanted to see now was the stars. But the lights in the city made that impossible. Probably the air pollution dimming the atmosphere , here on earth.

I looked to my wound again, cleaning it with nice cool water. I saw that my wound was almost healed already.It was if the water healed it. I looked at the water, shaking my head. Dismissing the thought I had. I calm down a bit now, and my breath wasn't as ragged as much before. After I thought it was time to go. I started wondering where to go, so the police officers won't find me. 

With a loud thud I turned around wearily. Thinking great another reinforcements to come kill me. There was a woman who seemed to be in her mid twenties, but still looking quite young yet. She was wearing some sort of costume. On top there was some sort of symbol that resembled a big s. With a red cape on her back. Then a white gold stripe on her waist coming down in a v line, and she also was wearing a red skirt as well. Finally again with the red, wearing high red boats. 

She had blue eyes, straight kind of small nose, and blond hair.  Looked to be 5'11 inches. She was standing with her hands on her hips. She said to me" Who are you, and what if your purpose in this city?
