As a child, you have certain expectations inflicted upon you: being loud; running around; making mistakes, that sort of thing. As a teen, you're expected to conform to stereotypes depending on your social group; go to school; and if you're a girl, getting through school without a baby is something of a minor achievement. Then what? What about those ideas that your parents have for you? What if your parents' are rich tossers who have those unrealistic expectations of your school work? Even though my father was rich, I was never sent to a posh, private school, despite Mum's best wishes. Trust me; if you think your family is screwed up, you know nout all.
