"Hey, um are you okay?" I hear. I open my eyes, a boy two years older than me with brown hair and gray eyes. His clothes were dirty and were a bit small.
"Um, are you okay?" he asks.
"Oh, yeah. Um, who are you by the way?"
"My name's Gale Hawthorne. What's your?"
"My name is Arianna Wintergreen. I'm twelve years old and what year is it and where am I?"
"Okay Arianna, I'm twelve years old, It's 4070 and your in District twelve.
"It's year 4070! Holy cow! How long was I out?! I was out for two-thousand sixty eight years?! Whoa." I say.
"Um, one more question, what country are we in?"
"Panem."
"What is Panem?"
"I thought you said only one more question?"
"Well I lied now answer, what is Panem?" I yell.
"The Capitol that runs this joint. Anyways, what district are you from?"
"What do you mean?"
"Like district one is luxury, four is fishing, five is power. District twelve is coal mining."
"I'm not from any of those places. what about St. Paul?"
"What's that place?"
"Oh, i forgot that I'm two-thousand seventy eight years older than you."
"Man, your crazy. C'mon, I'll introduce you to Katniss." Gale says.
"Do you all have funny names? Any regular names like Bella or Mary?"
"Err, I don't think so. c'mon. Katniss is this way." he says pointing towards the east. I grab my stuff and we're off.
"Why are we going so slow? Can't we go faster?" I complain.
"Are you fast?" he asks.
"Um, yes." I say flatly. He give a nod and starts to run. Piece of cake. I start running, but somethings wrong. I'm faster. Much, much faster.
"Awesome !" I yell. Then we come to a stop. In front of us is a girl my age with the same brown hair and gray eyes as Gale.
"Are you two related or something?" i ask.
"No." says the girl. In the corner of my eye i can spot a large animal. I quickly retrive my bow and arrows and quickly shoot the animal in the heart. It's a buck.
"Yay! Did you guys see that? That was so cool, right?"
"How did you see that buck?" asks the girl.
"I saw it in the corner of my eye. My name's Arianna Wintergreen. What's your name?"
"Katniss Everdeen."
"Cool. Um, can we get out of here? I'll carry the buck." I say. We start to walk back. We finally stop at a fence.
"Man, I'm jumping over."I say. "Leap of faith, here i come!" I yell, jumping over. Gale and Katniss brink the buck to a home and clean the kill.
"Who's this?" says a small little girl.
"I'm gonna say think one more time. If have to say it again then I will, erm, well I don't know what i would do but my name is Arianna Wintergreen and I am ten years old. Well, acually two-thousand seventy eight years old. So whats your name little feminame life form?" She gives out a small giggle.
"My name is Primrose Everdeen. This is my mother." she says pointing to a woman by the stove.
"Um, well you guys look really poor and i have some money so how much should I pay you for helping me?"
