"Shit!" I jumped out of bed upon hearing my second alarm.

I started stripping on my way to the bathroom, when I got there I quickly readied my tooth brush and started violently brushing my teeth as I ran spastically around grabbing random pieces of clothing from my dresser and closet

"Faith!" Grandma pounded on my door "you're gonna be late hurry it up!" She had a way of yelling at me but with a loving inflection in her voice

"I'm coming!" I quickly threw my clothes on and rinsed my mouth out

"Breakfast?" My grandma asked as I kissed her on the cheek

"No time!" I grabbed my purse and was out the door

"No!" I saw the boot on my car tire "ugh!" I kicked it which only sent a shock through my leg all the way up to my spine

'Fuck. No time.' I thought to myself as I started running

"Hey, F-Bomb!" My friend Lindsay pulled up next to me in her car "let's catch a movie!"

"No time! I'm late for school." I shouted and started running faster

"You're still in that college?!" She yelled and I just waved it off "lame." She drove away

She didn't support me. None of my friends do. While they're sleeping around, partying, and god knows what else, I'm in college. I'm learning photography, I'm doing what I love. Just having a camera in my hand makes me happier than a dancing penguin.

I quickly ran around the corner only to bump into someone "holy shit I'm so sorry." I said as I saw that I spilled his coffee all over his jacket

"Ah, no worries. Brown jacket, a little dry cleaning, it'll be good as new." I recognized that voice

"Oh." I looked up only to see it was Brendon Urie

"I'm Brendon." He smiled

"And I'm late." I laughed "sorry again!" I started to run away

"Wait! At least tell me your name!" He yelled as I ran

"Faith!" I turned around and yelled smiling

"Faith..." He said to himself "nice to meet you Faith." He hopped in his car and drove up to me "need a ride?"

"That would be amazing." I got in the car panting

"Calm down." He laughed "where you heading?"

"To the college up the hill." I pulled out my inhaler

"Wait, you were gonna run up the hill, and you have asthma?!"

"Maybe. Well see, last week my skateboard got stolen, and this morning my car got a boot on it..." I explained

"Well it's a good thing I came along. Plus, I just happen to be going to the same college."

"Wait, what?"

"We're supposed to be a project or something. Me and a few other band members from various bands."

"Oh! Mindy was right. See, this bitch who's father is on the board and the only reason she's even in this school is because she got kicked out of every other--"

"You gonna breathe?" He cut me off laughing

"Oh, right. Sorry. Anyways, she said that we were gonna have band members be our projects."

"Well, then I guess I'm a project."

"I guess so." I laughed

"What?"
