A tow truck pulled up and Brendon and I met him down by the car.

"Hello sir." Brendon said walking up

"Hello. So is this the car?" The guy asked

"Yes. I'm Brendon by the way and this is Faith."

"Nice to meet you, I'm Joey." He tipped his baseball cap

"You, too" Brendon and I said in unison

"You guys are cute." He said hooking the car up. I had my arms wrapped around Brendon's arm, with our fingers inner locked

"Thanks." We said again in unison

"Alright so I'm gonna tow this to the car garage. Since it's raining, I can take you guys home."

"Oh okay. Um my house is closer, if you don't mind spending the night." Brendon turned to me

"Yeah sure." I smiled

"Okay. Well you're all hooked up. So let's all load up." Joey said

We climbed in and buckled up

"So where y'all heading?"

"Um if you have a gps, I can punch in my address." Brendon smiled

"Yeah sure, go ahead." Joey turned on the gps, then faced it towards Brendon

Joey was younger than I was expecting, cuter, too.

About 15 minutes of small talk later, we were at Brendon's house

"Alright, thank you my good man. Hey," Brendon pulled out his wallet "as a thank you." He handed him twenty bucks

"Thanks, but it's my job." He pushed Brendon's hand away

"No, really. Take it." Brendon insisted putting his hand back out

"Okay.. Thank you, really." He smiled taking it

"Have a nice evening!" I smiled trying to climb out

"Here." Brendon smiled and picked me up, putting me down on the ground next to him

"Thanks." I smiled

"Alright, you two, as well." He tipped his baseball cap and I shut the door

"He was nice." I grabbed Brendon's hand and wrapped my arms around his "but this isn't your house." I giggled "it's not even your block."

"I know." He smiled "I wanted to talk for a few minutes before we went home."

"Home?" I giggled

"I mean, to my house.." He chuckled nervously

"Right, right." I looked up at him

"Anyways," he cleared his throat "so, Faith.."

"Yeeeees?"

"Well you see.."

"Yeah?"

"Here, um let's sit down." He pointed to a park bench

"Okay..?" I sat next to him

"Faith." He grabbed my hand

"Yeah?" I asked nervously

"See the thing is, I can't stop thinking about you. You're in my thoughts, in my dreams, and I like it. Ever since we met, I've been happier. Not that I wasn't happy before, because I was. But now I'm happier than I've ever been. Well Faith I'm.. I think I.. No wait. I know, I'm in-"

I cut him off with a kiss, "I'm in love with you, too."

He smiled and put his forehead on mine, resting his hand on the back of my head

"We should get going." I heard thunder "before it starts raining again."

"Yeah." He smiled and grabbed my hand

We got to his house and saw his cousin and her husband standing in the kitchen

"Stacey! Mark!" He smiled opening his arms

"Hello Brendon." She smiled, turning around and revealing a baby in her arms

"Oh my gosh!" I smiled

"This is my girlfriend Faith." Brendon laughed as I walked over to the baby

"Hi Faith, I'm Stacey and this is my husband Mark." She smiled as I cooed and played with the baby's hand

"It's nice to meet both of you." I giggled "what's her name?"

"Joy." They said in unison as Mark put his arm around her

"Wanna hold her?" Mark asked me

"Um yeah if you don't mind." I smiled looking at Stacey

"Not at all!" She smiled handing Joy to me

"Hello Joy." I smiled looking into the baby's bright blue eyes

------------Brendon's POV------------

Seeing Faith holding Joy made me so happy. The way she smiled at her, rocked her back and forth, and giggled when the baby grabbed her nose. It all made me realize that all I've ever wanted was right there. Right in front of me.

I want to spend the rest of my life with Faith, with a family.
