Three weeks have gone by and I've been clean from my eating disorder. Pete started paying for a gym membership for me so I can stay in shape and stay healthy. However I have picked up self-harm. Pete picked up on the signs and confronted me about it. He's been a huge help, making sure he's always there. Brendon and I haven't really had the time to actually talk about what happened that one day in the closet. Today my grandmother fell and badly cut herself on a plate that broke during the fall. She's in the hospital getting stitches and I just couldn't be there. Sammy's there with an interpreter.

"Are you busy?" I texted Pete crying

"No. Are you okay?" He texted back almost instantly.

"No." I sent back. A few seconds after it said the text was read was he calling me.

"Yeah?" I answered holding back

"I'll be there in about five minutes, but I'm staying on the phone with you." I heard Pete's voice sternly state with an infliction of worry

"You don't need to." I giggled

"Yeah I do. I slipped up last time and you.." He paused "I'm not having you do that again."

"Okay." I whispered and my voice quivered.

I heard his car engine start "Pete, you can't talk on the phone and drive."

"I'm not gonna be talking. You are, I'm just gonna listen."

"Okay... Well shit." I laughed "wanna hear a joke?"

"Will it make you laugh?"

"Every time."

"Then yes."

"Okay, so a girl goes to a store and buys bread, milk, flour, and celery." I start to giggle "and so the cashier looks at the items and looks at her, then says 'you must be single.' She says, 'yeah, how'd you know?' He says, 'because you're ugly.'" I burst out laughing

"That's such an awful joke." Pete chuckled

"I know." I saw his car pull up into the drive way from my bedroom window "I'm in my room, come on up."

"Are you naked?" He laughed locking the car

"Yes." I said in a seductive voice giggling

"Be right there." He hangs up and I hear the door unlock, open then shut and re-lock. "Liar." Pete laughed when he walked into my room and saw me laying on my bed fully clothed

"Sorry." I shrugged and laughed

"All is forgiven." He smiled and hugged me "are you okay?"

"All better now." I smiled and held him tighter

"Good." He pulled away and looked into my eyes

"So.." I smiled

"So.." He put his forehead on mine

"Pete..?" I smiled

"Yeah..?"

I smiled and gently kissed him. He kissed back and wrapped his arms around my waist as my hands played with his hair. The kiss intensified and I pulled him onto my bed. We started to undress each other but I pulled away when he took my shirt off

"I can't." I looked at him hovering above me

"Why?"

"Because. I can't do this while my grandmother is in the hospital." I sat up and put my forehead on his then resting my hand on his chest

"I understand." He smiled kissing me once more before laying beside me

It was silent and we just laid there holding each other
