I walk out of class and head to the bathroom to touch up my makeup so no one sees the marks, especially Cameron.
I take my foundation out of my bag, and dab a bit around my eye, and around my cheek. It doesn't look like anyone's noticed my lip, at least no one has said nothing, not that anyone ever does.
I walk out the door and make my way down to the school exit. Just as I'm about to reach for the handle, someone comes in from the other side.
The door hits me and I fall to the floor.
"Omg I'm so sorry!" says a voice.
I look up and see Liam Wortham. One of Cameron's best friends.
He's a very welcoming looking person, the way his golden brown hair flows just above his eyes. Gorgeous, big blue eyes, that remind me of the ocean before it started getting polluted. You can see through his clothing he is a very fit guy, and you hear it from every girl he's slept with.
"Oh its fine." I tell him.
He sticks out his hand to help me up. I take it and get back on my feet.
"I'm Liam. You are?"
"I'm Dabae" I say.
"Hi Dabae. Why were you in such a rush?"
"I wasn't in a rush."
"Oh it just seemed like you were in a rush, but okay. " he tells me.
"Sorry for bumping into you" Liam says.
"No problem"
He walks around me, with a bit of a jump. He reminds me of a rabbit I once had when I was younger. I smile at the thought as I open up the door to go meet Cameron.
I look around and see his car. I'm not a huge fan of cars or anything, basically I tell the difference by colour and size.
He has an averaged size car, big enough for five. Its dark black like the night sky.
I see him leaning against the hood of the car looking in the other direction from me.
I walk over to him nervously. What if this is all a trick, and the other things were to make me trust him?
I'm pulled out of my thoughts when he turns and sees me. My heart skips a beat when our eyes connect.
Those brown eyes bring me in. They're like a mixture of chocolate and chestnut. Its mesmerizing. I'm drawn out of my faze when he says something.
"Uhm sorry what did you say?" I ask in a daze.
"Where would you like to eat"
"Oh I don't know. It's up to you. I'll eat anything." I say smiling.
He nods smiling as well and turns to get in the car. I do the same and buckle up.
"So where are we going?" I ask.
He looks at me and says "Its a surprise."
We ride in silence the rest of the way.
Only minutes later we pull up to a building. I recognize this building as soon as I see it. A little café, the one I love coming to. I smile as we both get out of the car.
I walk in and instantly feel a calming sensation come over me.
"Dabae, it's good you came back! We've missed you!" exclaims Margaret.
"I was just here" I say chuckling.
"I know dear but you know you're part of our family and we miss you." She tells me.
