(hey so I'm glad I'm getting to update but I'm doing it from my laptop bc my phone is still really really broke. anyway enough with my life story, enjoy the update)
Ross steps out onto the balcony to see Monica leant against the rail with her head rested on her arm, Ross walked over and stood next to her looking over the city, he heard the busy buzz of the city that never sleeps, the cabs honking, people shouting, the crazy city life.
Ross drapes his arm around Monica and pulls her into a hug, kissing the top of her head "Hey, how you holding up" he asks her softly
She sighs and shrugs staying silent for a moment before speaking "I...I'm just shocked" she says quietly
Ross nods "I think we all are, but even though she's made a mistake, you and I both know Erica is smart and responsible, and she's gonna make a great Mom if you just give her a chance to prove herself," he says trying to support his niece
Monica sighs "I don't know, this whole thing just seems like a massive mistake or a bad dream I just want to wake up from, I mean she's only 14, she's way too young to go through all of this stuff" she stresses
"listen, you're her mom, the one person who understands her the most, she's gonna need your support more than anyone right now, so all I'm asking is that you try your best to support her, because we're all going to try, it would be nice if you could too" Ross smiles sympathetically
Monica nods her head "Yeah... ill be supportive, and I'm just hoping Chandler will be too, this is gonna be... eventful to say the least, I just hope she's okay" Monica leans into Ross' chest as tears start flowing freely down her cheeks, she doesn't stop them
In the apartment
Rachel sits spinning round in the Barcalounger across from Erica, she stops suddenly "Anyone got anything to say ?" she asks breaking the silence
Erica shakes her head
Joey stands up from the table "Do you think Harry would want to be involved ?" he asks Erica
"probably not because he's a bastard"Jack butts in
"Hey! Leave Harry alone! This isn't his fault because last time I checked it takes TWO people to get someone pregnant and I am one of them so don't go running your mouth!" Erica snaps back at Jack
"Don't have a go at me, you were told to stay away from him and disobeyed Mom and Dad!" Jack yells
"Yeah well I was in love with him and we were drunk and stupid after Homecoming. It was a mistake!" Erica yells back
"Okay! Okay, Calm down and stop yelling at each other, right Erica, do you want to keep this baby ?" Rachel asks the dreaded question
Erica shakes her head "I don't know, listen, I can't sit here and listen to this negativity" Erica stands up and goes into the room, locking the door behind her
Phoebe sits up from the couch "Erm if Erica doesn't want this baby, how are we gonna tell Monica, because she couldn't have kids, wouldn't that kinda be insulting her own Mom?" Phoebe questions
"Just relax, this is all really shocking and new to Erica, once this is all settled in and it's clear she has all our support, she's gonna be okay and want this baby" Rachel explains
"But what if she doesn't?" Phoebe asks...
