The woman who screamed runs over to Erica who lays unconscious on the floor and bleeding severely
''Someone call an ambulance!!'' She screams
a young man and woman run over ''the ambulance is on its way'' the young man says
the young woman takes Ericas phone out of her pocket and tries to open it ''it's got a password, we can't contact any of her family''
''It's fine, we just need to keep her stable till the ambulance gets here'' The first woman says
{10 mins later}
Sirens can be heard
''Sweetie, the ambulance is here, you need to stay with us okay'' the woman tells Erica
The paramedics rush over ''We can take it from here''
The two women stand up ''just let us know she's okay''
They take Erica away to hospital
{20 mins later}
Paramedics wheel Erica into the ICU
''This is Erica, she's 14, she's was involved in a car collision, she's been unconscious since collision and she's lost a lot of blood, she is also 27 weeks pregnant'' The head paramedic says
''Okay, thank you'' the doctors say as they begin working on Erica
''we have to get this baby out of her to save the baby's and her life'' the head doctor says
''But she's already lost so much blood'' another one protests
''Listen!! my department, my rules, now do what i say'' The head doctor shouts back and they preform an emergency c- section on Erica
{30 mins later}
A Very distraught Monica, Chandler and Jack burst through the doors of the ICU
''Where's my little girl?'' Monica says through her tears
''Ma'am, can i help you?'' a nurse asks
''Yes, do you know where Erica Bing is? i'm her mother'' Monica pleads
''She's just come out of surgery, she's in that room over there'' the nurse points
Monica runs in and sees a Dr examining Erica who is on life support machines
Chandler and Jack quickly follow behind and they come to a halt at the sight in front of them
Monica breaks down into tears
Chandler hugs her ''Shhh... she's going to be fine''
''Mr and Mrs Bing, i've had to place Erica in a medically induced coma to help her recovery, the future is unclear at this stage, i'm so sorry'' The doctor explains and goes to leave
''What about my granddaughter ?'' Chandler asks
''She's lucky, but she survived, she's up in the baby ICU because she was obviously born premature, she's going to be okay, and you can't visit her without one of her parents present'' The doctor leaves
Monica goes and sits next to Ericas bed and takes hold of her hand and Jack sits on the opposite side
Harry rushes onto the ward and into Erica's room ''I come as quickly as i could'' he says, wiping his tears away ''Oh Erica... Oh god no'' he says, rushing to her side and taking hold of her hand ''I knew i shouldn't have let her walk to the shop alone, this is all my fault''
''Dude, don't blame yourself okay? this could have happened to anyone'' Jack says
''What about our daughter? is she... is she okay?'' Harry asks
''She's upstairs in the baby ICU, Go see your daughter'' Jack says
Harry nods and goes to head out
''I'm coming with'' Chandler says following him
{Up in the ICU}
Harry rushes over to the desk ''I need to see my daughter, she should be down as Baby Girl Bing''
The receptionist shows them over to an incubator with a tiny tiny little girl in the middle
''Oh my gosh... that's my little girl'' Harry says, welling up with tears
''She's amazing'' Chandler says, lost for words
''She's a little fighter... she was born early and she's only 2 pound 3 oz and has to stay in the incubator for a while but she's going to be okay'' The receptionist smiles and leaves them alone
Harry slots his hand in the side of the incubator and strokes the little baby's arm ''I love her... so much'' he says
''She's so tiny'' Chandler states
''Do we have a name yet?'' A nurse asks,
coming over
Harry looks at the little girl and nods ''Jessica... Jessica- Jennifer Bing'' he says softly
''Great, ill get her a name tag for her incubator now and i'll put it down on her records... and it's a beautiful name'' the nurse beams
Chandler smiles ''for a beautiful little girl''
(so yeah, that took a plot twist but the baby is A ok... and also... the biggest fan of this story aka lauryn got to name the baby girl... only seemed fair since she's stayed loyal and accepted the fact it took me 5 months to update, plus it's a vvv cute name so ty lauryn)
